Also remember life span is not for ever depending on conditions and quality of materials and installation average life span is 6-7 years . It has to be removed before it dries ,becomes brittle to r cracks , because it won’t come off once that happens and it becomes a scrape off and repaint .

Ppf will definitely help with what you are asking protects the paint , but unless you wax or ceramic coat the ppf it will still stain the ppf , leave spots and just as hard to wash .
