Your situation is much like mine. 60s/70s single family homes with back alley double detached garages. So what people do if you want to make the investment is bring alley pole power into the garage with a main panel there, then trench in to the house & have a sub panel run off that...
EVās definitely arenāt the answer here. Six months of winter makes them a non-starter to begin with. Plus itās not hard to be a couple hours from the nearest charger (which I understand may or may not be working). Drivers need to be able to charge them at home, which unless you live in single...
Had to go rectangular. Growing up in the 80s, cars by then had rectangular headlights so that is nostalgic for me. Consider later examples of the J60. I mean I love the round ones and on cars like the Bronco especially, but considering that I wonāt have made my car decision in time enough for...
Thanks for your honest review. Iām sure itās great compared to anything Jeep, but this just confirms that in comparison to Toyotaās various offerings on TGNA-F that the ārealā Bronco probably isnāt well suited to meet my expectations of my next car.

Iām understanding what I read to say this is true, that there canāt be ADM added into the advertised cost & the advertised cost must...
Auto Repair Calgary AB - Mechanic Near Me - Oil Change. Great honest garage if you ever need anything for your LC. They do great work on older vehicles. Iām sure a block heater wouldnāt be a problem for them, but Iām not sure how much they get into customizations like heated seats or steering...
The thought of buying a new 1984 car in 2024 is intriguing to me beyond all doubt! But with money & space for 1 car, I suspect even if we had the chance to purchase either, Iād be better served by the new LC.
Thanks everybody for great discussion on the Bronco. I love the look, though havenāt taken one out yet. All yāallās experience seems to confirm just what I think from my internet research. The full size bronco is a great 2nd or fun car, but wouldnāt offer the refinement Iām looking for to...
I like their renders! I could almost see them doing a Ford like thing (Bronco & Bronco Sport) & marketing a mini LC as ā¦ LC something mini. Then the RAV4 could be more cutesy crossover like, Toyotaās Escape. Iām not a fan of that orange Aztec render in the article, but a more LC mini like...
Do I dare ask what youāve experienced with your Bronco? & how that experience compares with your same year Taco? I really like the full size Bronco seeing it but I suspect if I took one out for a drive, Iād quickly experience why it needs a fixed roof version for long highway drives. Which is...
Iām always amazed, but perhaps consistently thankful, that exchange rate isnāt a good predictor of what our pricing will be based off US pricing. They price it with what hte market will bear, but that does mean our cars wind up being comparatively cheaper here.
I like them, but they work with few exterior colors. Itās quite a āspecificā choice & might well turn some away. Iām one who likes to keep flow between interior & exterior color, so to me itās a great choice with Nori Green. Not sure what else though.
Certainly considering the Tacoma in Limited Hybrid form once available. I think itās only fair to compare LC, Taco, and GX to see what might meet my needs best. I like a pickup, they fit in as well in a strip mall thrift store parking lot as an upscale restaurant, depending on your city...
I have a hard time picturing it scaling down that far either. Iād expect more of a Bronco Sport type vehicle based on TNGA-C or K. Iāll be impressed though if they can do BOF for this!
Given the current one starts at $80K 90 wouldnāt surprise me a bit. Probably worth investigating, but it might just be a bridge too far on price. But in this day & age, the LC wouldnāt surprise me at 70 either. It seems a $50K vehicle nowadays is a cheap one.
Yes just about anything 2 door is largely gone away. But what kind of dog? Erm.. your guess is as good as mine.. whatever wandered by the farmyard that day I think. Hereās Keeley on our outing to the mountains last week.

Hey MTR2, hopefully someone here will know more than I do about the older LCās. This forum seems geared towards the new 2024s though, so may not be the best source of mechanical info. Perhaps the 80 series forum...
Iād have to agree. Many SUVās are really crossovers of some kind & too many midsize & up are family oriented with 3rd rows, etc. For those of us without families to haul around (my dog doesnāt really care what car sheās riding in, just that she gets to goā¦) there arenāt as many good choices as...
Thanks for the video, I donāt think Iād seen this one of his. I generally really like his videos, they seem quite well done with enough detail for mechanics while not being overwhelming for those of us who donāt even bother to change our own oil. He obviously has his preferences for Toyota no...
Done wrong it sure would. But given what theyāve put out for design lately (LC, Tacoma) they may just have a shot at getting it right & extending the brand. Iāve said before though, Iād be surprised to see this as BOF, Iād be expecting something more like a rav4 in an LC box. Surely theyāre...
Wow! Brand new retro car? Wish I could! I even like the graphics. Neat video highlighting all the features that have gone by the wayside in modern cars.
Thanks for a great video! He really did do a great job highlighting all the differences. Some like warranty & service I hadnāt even considered & thought of.
