My Ford was subject to a similar ‘recall’ with an under hood sticker. I briefly toyed with the idea of booking it in with the dealer to have the recall performed, but I wasn’t sure they’d see nearly as much humor in it as I would. Unless they get to bill Ford an hour for doing it of course...

Looking forward to reading more about how the LC handles long road trips. Overall comfort, as you mention is excellent with seats & seating position, is my primary purchase consideration for my next car, as I hope to get on the road with some long trips again.

With the subscription even? That starts to become an issue. If you’re paying monthly for services you, or at least I do, expect things to be right up to date.

This would be my hope as well. I’ve never experienced these new subscription cloud based navigation (I remember when the maps came on dvds…). I’d expect the map as it exists would still be functional but without subscription I wouldn’t expect live traffic or up to date maps.

Great pics! Seeing one side by side with an FJ62 really proves which design they were channeling for the current one, at least to me. And definitely which design the square headlights came from, which I actually prefer.

Ah thanks, good to know it still works without the subscription even if not completely up to date. I’m pretty used to that, preferring to use the vehicle’s built in navigation. Here I wondered if that wouldn’t work at all if you didn’t subscribe.

Good questions! & I’m not sure on most of them. I suspect though that you’d have to have the memory seats in order to get the easy access system, since effectively it’d have to remember where your seat position was to get it back. Not sure I’d trust either seat covering to stand up to dog...

Of course you could also go a bit lower budget & hope for higher mileage sticking with a hybrid…

I’m kind of looking at the Tundra situation & realizing that if there is an issue, and they all have issues nowadays, I can count on Toyota to stand behind their product. They seem to investigate failure, admit fault, & come up with a plan to make sure the customer is whole.
