Toyota did this before with the FJ Cruiser. 2007-2009 required premium fuel. That changed in 2010 when it went to regular with a slightly different engine.

Since this is a throw back color, I do not think it is metallic as the original color were not metallic. Also, after looking at many videos, I dont think metallic. Just my opinion though. Cant say for sure

I had a 2008 FJ and now have a 2014. Great vehicles. Debating trading in for a new Land Cruiser but I love my FJ so much, not sure I want to do it.

It kind of makes sense. Both of those colors are throw back colors honoring the older Land Cruisers.
