    What is this patch for?

It’s a small piece of PPF ahead of the rear wheel arch to “protect” from rock strikes from the front wheels. It’s very similar to what Porsche does on the 911 so that loose material that’s thrown up from the front tires doesn’t damage the paint on the leading edge of the rear fender wells...

How smooth is your LC250 at 70+ mph?

Mine runs extremely well at 70mph with no noticeable vibration or shaking. I’ve only spent a short amount of time at 70mph+ as I’m still in the break-in period, but haven’t experienced anything like you’re describing. Once I’m through the break-in period I’ve got a road trip planned where the...

Is anyone changing the oil on their LC250 after the 1000 mile break in period?

Taking mine in to the dealership early next week for the first oil change with between 1000-1100 miles. Much of the thoughtful conversation among members of this community convinced me to do so.

2024 FE left wheel squealing in specific situations

I just noticed this for the first time this morning when backing out of my garage. Parked the car the previous evening after driving on wet roads during a light rain. The noise appeared to come from the rear of the vehicle when I gently applied the brakes. The noise started while the car was...

POLL: Should we get Ceramic Coating to help...

I had the entire vehicle wrapped in XPEL Ultimate Fusion PPF (ULTIMATE FUSION | Hydrophobic Paint Protection Film) which is an 8 mil PPF infused with ceramic coating from the factory. For me, it’s the best of both worlds as it serves as a physical protectant for the vehicle and is easy to...

    Interior noise

Noise from the power unit isn’t bad at all in my opinion. The noise from the ICE is definitely audible but certainly not overly intrusive. I think the sound is a bit raspy compared to 6-cylinder or 8-cylinder alternatives. I can hear the turbo spooling up when accelerating, but it isn’t too...

    LED headlight replacement

My understanding is that you change out the entire headlight assembly. The other threads that @JoT mentioned show what the headlight assemblies look like and reference the fact that they are complete units that need to be swapped if they are defective and/or damaged or if you want to change the...

Wonderful engine just love this thing.

I only have 506 miles on my new Land Cruiser and so far the driving experience has been fantastic. When I first heard that the new Land Cruiser was going to get a 4-cylinder hybrid system in North America I was a bit skeptical. One of the main reasons I wanted a Land Cruiser was Toyota’s...

    Recommended Tire Pressure

I’m currently running 40psi on 265/70R18 124S RWL BF Goodrich KO3s and the ride is very smooth with minimal road noise. Very good ride on the highway as well as in town.

What was the cost/quote of full vehicle PPF?

I wrapped the entire vehicle in XPEL Ultimate Fusion PPF which is infused with ceramic coating from the factory so you don’t have to apply it in a separate step (ULTIMATE FUSION | Hydrophobic Paint Protection Film). The price was approximately $7500.

To Wrap or Not to wrap

I take all my vehicles to JK2 Detailing (JK2 Auto Paint Protection & Detailing | Spokane & Spokane Valley, WA) and they always do a fantastic job. I’m not going to lie when I tell you that this was very costly (approximately $7500), but keep in mind that it was the entire vehicle, it was the...

To Wrap or Not to wrap

I wrapped the entire vehicle in XPEL Ultimate Fusion PPF which is infused with ceramic coating from the factory so you don’t have to apply it in a separate step. In the past I had my vehicles wrapped with traditional PPF and then had the ceramic coating applied on top of the PPF. So far I’m...

    New A/T Tire recommendations, help!

I have posted this in another thread, but I’m enjoying the BF Goodrich KO3 in the original OEM size of 265/70R18 124S RWL. I had the opportunity to drive the LC a bit more today and was quite impressed. Handling was solid even on the freeway with significant ruts, and tire noise was...

Air Compressors - Best type to keep in LC?

I purchased a Thor’s Lightning Portable TotalControl 12V True Dual Air Compressor 10.6 CFM for the back of the Land Cruiser and for taking with us on RV trips. They are currently back ordered and should ship in mid-September. The following is a link to the product page on their website...

    New 2024 Land Cruiser...modification advice

For what it’s worth I put on BFG KO3s in the original OEM size 265/70R18 124S RWL. I don’t have many miles on them yet, but have found them to handle very well on tarmac and the difference in road noise is negligible (at least at this point).

    Tire Upgrade ?

Thanks! I wanted RWL as I thought they would complement the design of the vehicle, which is definitely a nod to Land Cruisers of the past. I wasn’t sure if I would like them, but I’m really happy with how they turned out.

    Tires

I have the BFG KO3s in the original OEM size 265/70/R18 124S RWL and i like them albeit I don’t have many miles on them yet. Handling and ride with these tires are very good on tarmac without wandering. In fact, they feel as good as the stock Michelins despite being a far more aggressive all...

Greetings From Eastern Washington/ North Idaho!

Thanks! I really wanted to get a durable all terrain tire that provided good winter performance. I’ve had great luck with KO2s in the past, so I’m hoping the KO3s will be even better. I wasn’t sure how the RWL would look, but I’m really happy with how they turned out.

Greetings From Eastern Washington/ North Idaho!

Good afternoon from eastern Washington / north Idaho! New to Toyota ownership and the forum. Took delivery of a 2024 Land Cruiser First Edition yesterday afternoon. I had the dealership order and install BF Goodrich KO3s in the original OEM size 265/70R18 124S RWL. I also had JK2 Detailing...
