Iām inclined to think it would be something along the lines of this also. I dried it off a couple different times , parked in the garage so I know I didnāt always track snow inside. Also when I do have snow or mud on my boots I tend to rap them on the running boards a couple times before getting...
So the dealer contacted me earlier today said they couldnāt find anywhere the water was getting in. Said they āsoakedā it but couldnāt find anything. I mentioned that they needed to take it for a drive and then check under the floor mat. He did that and when he got back the carpet under the mat...
Itās not what I wanted to happen to a new vehicle but I knew the carpet would have to come out in order to address the issue.
Yes I have noticed water leaking from underneath the vehicle even when the AC is not being used. When I first got it anyway.
Iāve had several 4Runners over the years...
Dealer called me today to let me know theyāre working on it and are going to have it for another night. The ā master technician ā has the carpet out and was drying it out. I could tell from the app they had the drivers side door open and tonight both front windows are open.
If you need to lock the center differential chances are you are on a slippery surface or loose rock etcā¦ at that point the difference in tire size becomes moot. A lot of people with jeeps get all 5 the same. The aggressive spare hanging off the rear gate looks cool.
I always purchase 4 tires. Iām not one to get aggressive tires that are 3ā larger in diameter than OEM. My rule of thumb is that if your tires are within an inch (height)of your spare I would not worry about it. Anyone who goes 4wheelin far from civilization should carry some plugs and...
Thanks for the info. Sometimes I feel like these forum communities are better informed than some Toyota techs. Not that I have lost my faith in the integrity of the Toyota techniciansā¦ I just feel they have a lot of vehicles and technology to keep up with. I have been in the woods with it and...
No I donāt, Iāve only used the cool box a couple of times. I havenāt used it in over a month. Iām just kinda wondering if there is some line going to the cool box that may be unhooked. Didnāt really think about trying it out lately.
Drivers side is constantly wet. Originally I thought maybe I tracked in some snow from hunting season so I removed the all weather mat and dried it out with a fan. I did that a couple times but when I drive for a half an hour it gets wet again under the floor mat. Itās not likely a missing drain...
If youāre in a cold climate the fuel combustion engine will run all the time. Anything around 50F and it will shut off for me occasionally. My winters are usually in the teens Fahrenheit, my mpg in the winter will drop 2-3 for sure.
Just looked at the trailhunter. Good looking truck for ~10k less than my cruiser. Then I looked in the bed and told myself,ā I donāt need a pickup ā.
Sensor is on the dash, passenger side. I canāt really help you with the sensitivity of it because I donāt use the auto function. If I had to guess tinting the windshield isnāt helping.
Yeah there just arenāt many options in 245 or 255 for the 18ā rim that are 33ā+ in diameter unless you down grade to a 17ā rim. Seeing how narrow tires are generally superior off road I would think that industry will have more options in the next couple of years.
A 2025 premie with Yokohama geolander on the 20ā rims. Only saw a pic on my dealers site. Probably the cv series. Most likely comparable to the Dunlop grandtrek.
Itās unfortunate that there isnāt a better selection of 245 or 255 with an aspect ratio of 75 or 80 on an 18ā rim. Would not sacrifice fuel efficiency, add ground clearance and off road performance without downgrading to a 17ā rim. Perhaps in the near future.
Yeah think about the pros and cons. If you go wheeling a handful of times a year itās probably not worth going bigger and more aggressive. If you wheel every weekend it would be worth it.
Pros;
Looks really cool
Better ground clearance
Typically better puncture...
This ^^^^. You could have gotten it with the stock tires and then purchased the cheap nittoās for less than $1500.
Dealer turns around and sells your Michelinās, makes out like a bandit.
