Mine came right off with a little heat from a heat gun (you can use a hair drier) and my finger nails. I wiped off the left over glue with some wd40 and no scars on the car. It's like they put that badge on there to mess with us.
my experience with LC adaptive cruise on the highway is what you said about the Outback except that after going from 90 to a stop, the cruise would resume on its own without any intervention and crawl back to 90.
I was driving what is usually a 3 hour drive but it was the weekend after...
Is refined a smooth ride with elbow (and arm) rest and tight turn radius or a car with a large turn radius beeping on you when you go over the speed limit and then you realize that you can turn that speed limit alarm off but then when you restart the car it forgets you turned it off so you turn...
I turn it on and off and treat it kind of like the adaptive cruise control. If adaptive is at level 1, the pda would be level 0 adaptive cruise.
Right now, and I will adapt as I drive this more, the pda is turned on during traffic, off when I'm more aggressive, and on long distances or school...
I used a George Foreman grill to cook up some sausage. Then used an electric griddle to make some pancakes and eggs and an espresso machine on a trip last week. It was one of the best breakfasts ever. The LC can cook.
Come to think of it. This is the US hybrid with 2400w inverter. Seems like...
Good point. This lady at my kids school told me she switched to ko3s on her 4runner because of the pelting of the grapplers and she no longer has any issues like that. I'm thinking she must've been running the G2s and to your point what helped her is that she went narrower to relieve the poke.
I'd say drive the car for a while and get a feel for it.
With the small fuel tank and the v4 you'll start considering things you wouldn't have in say a v6 or v8.
you may even end up considering going with 18" wheels. Then if you rush it, you could end up with some wheels with low offset and...
Have you had any trouble with the G3s pelting gravel to your windshield or fenders ? I heard a couple of complaints but I'm not sure if that's because of heavy poke or if those people are talking about the G2s. Cuz I'm seriously considering these G3s. Seems like the best option for 275 SLs. At...
After 10 years of my lovely 5th gen runner. I thought I'd miss it but na the LC 1958 has been superb on and off road. That 6th gen looks ugly, like a taco with a cabin. I guess it's going back to its roots.
The 1958 is the best car I've owned.
That was the first thing I complained about when I test drove my LC. My old 4runner had a much wider leg room. At 6.3 250 I thought it would be a big pain point.
But didn't take long for me to get used to it. My consolation in this regard is the adaptive cruise on long trips. I can rest my legs...
I paid for a Katzkin upgrade when I bought the 1958 a few weeks ago. But I love the cloth seats so much that I am very hesitant to take it up to dealership to reupholster. I called the dealership and they said you can wait a few weeks and to take my time.
I don't know, with dogs and kids, the...
I let my 2014 4Runner go after 10 years. I pulled a stranded F150 out of lake Travis sand and mud with the runner once and when the, once in a lifetime, winter storm hit Austin and all electricity went out for a few days, I drove around with my 4 year old son and helped people stranded on the...
