The 5 or 6 beeps when locking is because you opened a rear door during that trip. It is a notice in case there is a child in the back. It can be tuned off in the settings.

Here is a picture of the sanded hitch pin. Placed a wheel lock next to it so you can see the difference from original. With a little trimming the hitch pin fits nice and snug.

Following up on 1up racks - I spent a few minutes today sanding off a bit of the black plastic on the standard 1up hitch pin. It’s fairly easy to remove enough material to allow the hitch pin to fit perfectly.

I assume that is giving an estimate of the ‘usable’ capacity of the fuel tank.
