Yeah, heat it up and it pulls right off. Then you just rub the adhesive off. No need for chemicals or anything. I only used floss and a heat gun ‘cause I didn’t want to damage the badge. But if you’re just gonna throw it away it’s easy to just pull off.
It was time for her to go. It got to the point where she just sat in the driveway and never went anywhere. The guy who bought her promised her a life of adventure. It’s what she was born for. LOL.
3rd gen was awesome. But I think the current 5th gen’s will last just as long. No reason to think otherwise. We put 220,000+ miles on the ‘04. Never a day of trouble
I really thought I was going to miss the ‘99. Having the LC makes it a lot easier to forget the ‘99! A couple years ago I would have never thought I’d say that
We also have had a 2004 4Runner, a 2019 4Runner, a 2014 Tundra, and a 2016 Tacoma. The LC is so much nicer than any of them. We still have the 2019. It’s a great car. But the LC is so much nicer to drive.
I just sold the car I swore I’d never sell; my 1999 Limited 4Runner 4x4. But after getting into the LC, I have no regrets. That’s how much I love this LC!
Same. The LC has been my dream car since I was a kid. But could never justify one because I had a long commute. And the price tag just didn’t make sense. So I stayed with 4Runners. Now I’m retired and just got a 2025 LC. Sold my pride and joy, 1999 4Runner to get it!
I have the leather interior. But I know in years past, only the area where your butt and back sit are actual leather. Everything else is vinyl. Is there any documentation to show what parts of the seats are leather vs vinyl? I want to use conditioner but some leather conditioners say to not...
The instant torque from the hybrid motor will likely perform better on technical sections of trail, rather than waiting for turbo chargers to spool up.
