"On" meaning Aux?. Makes we wonder again how the starter battery is managed. I suspect that the vehicle will start to charge the starter battery if the inverter is on. Otherwise devices plugged into 12V would drain the starter overnight. The hybrid battery is likely 48V.
12V coolers can't typically be run overnight safely on one car battery. Is there any indication that the hybrid battery maintains the 12V when the vehicle is off? Are you planning to run a cooler off the 120V inverter?
In my experience as a spring/fall camper a small 250W electric heater is...
I prefer a split tailgate and the spare on the back. That would allow the battery to be dropped or underfloor storage in non-hybrids. The tire on the back also allows easier gas storage. Ii have not figured out where to put an extra four gallons.
In the Chicago area there are a couple of dealers with unallocated vehicles arriving this week and selling at MSRP. But one other local dealer told me "we can't get any". Selling at MSRP with no dealership addons is not uncommon in my local market. Although unsold LC are not sitting on dealer...
In my market FE is the only way to get 18" wheels. So my least expensive path is to buy the FE, or fly to Denver where mid spec LC that do not have the 20 "upgrade" wheels. I assume it would be $4K ish to replace the 20" with 18.
Horses for courses. There's almost nothing in the First Edition I wouldn't add aftermarket. If your needs and wants are less then of course you wouldn't want the highest model.
I also think the 1958 is great for many buyers. I like the cloth. Manually adjusted seats are fine for one driver...
If you live in an area where people actually air down you will probably find 18" wheels. 20" Wheels added as an option is done by Toyota, not the dealer.
In Toyota's view people who air down want the First Edition.
