This is a regional question: where is Toyota only shipping Premium package Land Cruisers with 20" wheels vs. 18" wheels?
I'm in the SFBay area, and I haven't seen (in person or on Toyota's site) a local premium package LC w/o 20" wheels, salespeople I've asked have unanimously said they have no...
Indirectly we know the First Edition/Mid-trim 18" is about 27.3 lbs based on the Car and Driver flex test video where he weighed the tire & wheel, using the tire weight. I'd really like to know what the 20" weighs!
First, yes, that's a pretty good photo, much closer to reality. (I've been battling this problem for a decade with my FJ!) And I've got the 2 bike version of that rack!
As for cameras, I design scientific cameras for a living, as a result I have unrealistic standards (for consumer cameras)...
A lot. A camera phone sees gray-blue and grayish white and tries to make it into a pretty blue sky with white clouds. The amount of processing that goes into camera phone images is staggering, the sensors are so tiny the raw pixel data is junk (or in technical terms, swamped by shot noise)...
Nothing on the back? Edit to add I've been trying to find the part numbers for the stock wheels as well, no luck so far. If I get stuck with 20" wheels I'm leaning towards these Tacoma wheels: TRD 18-In. Flat Black Alloy Wheel
I've read that Toyota wants to move to a direct sales model because they're not really happy having one of the highest rated brands sold through some of the lowest rated dealers. Dealers are the worst part of the Toyota experience. The current "SmartPath" version is supposed to be a small step...
With about 5mm clearance from the brake calipers according to Method.
I wish they made 18" 70x wheels with the 35 offset. The best they offer is 18 offset.
I started a list of stock-ish offset 18" wheel options on my tire spreadsheet if anyone has suggestions to add.
Does anyone have photos of the stock 20" wheel with upgraded tires? Especially the 33" size 275/60R20?
Also, what is the stock tire for the 20" wheels?
Someone posted the Japanese Land Cruiser online catalog, and I ran it through Google Translate, and annoyingly it looks like in Japan there's an option to use the built in cameras instead! That would be so much nicer!

I don't think so, it's not mentioned in any of the US materials. I don't think it's legal in the US yet, although I'm reading that there's been an effort to change the regulations in the last couple years. I wonder if they use a different fixture in the US or just lock out that feature?
I've always asked for that on my FJ. Just make sure they actually do it. One place I wasn't keeping a close enough eye on it and they weren't actually doing it, by the time I caught it the tread was too different to swap it in anymore.
On one of the FB groups yesterday someone posted screenshots of the online catalog for Japan. Their base model has square reflector LED lights, the top model has the square projector lights our mid-trim gets (see below, with Google Translate version). I've seen those reflector lights on some...
