I agree an air tag won't prevent a vehicle from being stolen. It will however assist in tracking the tag as long as the tag in the vicinity of an I-phone. If it was taken to a chop shop, the tags location can be tracked, same with taken to a container......"last seen in the vicinity of" will...
For me it has to do with securely storing the air compressor, it's got a bit of weight to it, In the event of a major accident, I didn't want a heavy object flying around the cabin. Then there is the convivence of the air chuck and air tank being mounted in a fixed location. Initially I wanted...
Use a hook tool. If you search this forum "EOD Guy's Ride" ..... it shows how I did it.
Note: I actually removed the fastener securing the connector to the body, it was a pain to disconnect and reconnect so I popped the fastener, no ill effects at all.
They do but you have to hunt for it, I don't. I also run 87 on a reg basis, I fill up with 91 with traveling in the mountains of TN, KY just for the extra power.
I thought about it for a while, my rationale for the permanent mount............ This vehicle is always going to need storage, so I'm never going to remove them and if I ever sell it, it's not going to detract from the selling price.
Just about anything that uses adhesive to mount isn't going to last with any type of weight put in it. I used "binder posts" to securely mount mine. When traveling, I keep my "L" shaped device in it with no issues. If you search this forum for "EOD Guy's ride" ...... that's what they look like.
As far as I can tell it's only to tell if the driver is inattentive. I turned mine off and evrything works like it did when it was annoying the shiet outa me.
Was the warning once or steady? I have gotten random warnings that acted up once then went away after I charged the 12v battery......... No way the filter is clogged at 5K under normal use. But as it is under warranty...... let the dealer check it and put it on your record
While I agree the gauge should read accurately, I can't understand why people would be upset, when the gage says you're out of gas but you're not really........... Cause for me, when that happens, I start looking in earnest for the next gas station!
