Fit and "fit" are two different things. I wouldn't be surprised if 35s can be daily driven under a very moderate lift. I'd be shocked if 35s fit fully tucked. It just doesn't look like the space exists in the fenders and it would have to eat into cargo space at some point.
I'd pull the 3rd row out the sequoia completely. It cleans up pretty nicely and lowers the cargo floor massively. There are quite a few people that have done that. It seems like a pretty simple job.
For sleeping in the back, I'd probably build a half platform to go on the 60 side of the 60:40 split bringing the cargo area level with the folded seatback. That would then allow storage under the 5" tall platform and I enter the cargo area from the driver side with the seat tumbled. Not...
Base is 1958, mid is LC Grade, upper is LC Premium package. First edition is based on the LC premium package. Since it is limited production and not available the entire model year, I kinda set it off to the side.
It will be built in Japan. The Mexico plants are bursting at the seams as is now that Texas plant isn’t building Tacoma. The LC250 is going to steal some sales from 4Runner. Maybe combined they are looking at 160k units which is in the ballpark of what Toyota can build in Japan for 4Runner...
Not really interested in the Tacoma as I really like having a covered cargo area and my bikes go on a rack on the hitch anyway. Plus, I can sleep in an SUV really well while a 5' bed is going to be a difficult fit. The Tacoma promises to be a lot like the next 4Runner, though, so worth...
The cab was removed on a few early ones to have better access for Toyota engineers to investigate the problem. The repair manual for replacing a turbo does not call for removing the cab.
As far as "proven"... the electric motor was pulled straight from Tundra. I'd be pretty comfortable about...
