At parties I need to act cool and just be like "yeah man! I can't imagine driving a rig without a sway bar disconnect mechanism anymore!"
But under that brave face is a crying soul, worried about my poor gas mileage and tank range.
On LC/FE trims the trip MPG is not related to the trip odometer, it is the current active time driving since you started the car. You need to reset the total average when refilling to simulate a "tank" average. This can be done on the infotainment display easily, and it keeps track of the last...
My continued pain point is the urban neighborhood/residential driving: 5-10 minute drives with stop signs/lights at every other block and speeds between 10-25mph. For a truck with so much power, it sure seems to have to work really hard to get from 0 to 15mph and then even harder to simply stay...
Mind if I ask if there’s something you didn’t end up liking about the Rubitreks? I remember seeing your post a while back with your thoughtful and thorough reasoning for choosing them.
I did mine at 1500mi but mostly because I was replacing my skids and I figured I might as well do it for fun while I had the skids off and the cruiser on the ramps.
Otherwise I was planning to do 5k.
This is a super interesting theory that might align with my experience.
I had the squeek for maybe one week back in late July-ish. I only noticed it happening consistently in one particular parking lot and it was extremely hot out so AC was blowing hard. I haven't been in that parking lot...
That step is awesome. Such a nice thoughtful design touch. It will be the perfect spot for tossing/grabbing skis from the roof box.
For summertime camping, when I’m doing a bit more “strategic packing” in the cargo box, stepping from there up onto the rear tire gets me into the sweet spot...
I cried a little today when I was driving my RAV4 (hybrid) instead of the Land Cruiser and saw the 550mi estimated range on the current tank. (~44mpg during non-winter)
Only the left one can be used to connect to the media system (ie carplay). The other two are for charging only.
I believe they are all the same wattage.
I’ve noticed the same thing. AC is obviously running when I haven’t explicitly turned on AC.
For now while it’s still “AC weather” I’ve considered this to be a feature, not a bug. But as the weather starts to cool off I’ll have to figure out what’s going on and how to actually control the AC...
Do a web search for the part number and you’ll find plenty of online parts dealers with varying discounts and shipping rates.
I ended up getting both skids for $585 including shipping.
