I was surprised, but my dealer said they expect to get vehicles from Portland in about 30 days (KC area). I told him that seemed optimistic, but he stuck with it, hopefully we see some of the port delays straighten out.

If it is labor I'm a little confused since Toyota did okay volume on the old GX and the 4Runner is a higher volume vehicle so I wouldn't think volume is that much higher than it has been in the recent past?
His schedule looks like 5-7 weeks from port to delivery, my dealer told me expect 4-6 weeks from port to delivery. I'm setting my expectations on 6 weeks from port, if it gets to me faster I'll be happy, now I just need the ship it is on to get to port!
I would guess the LC holds its value better than the GX, seems like after 3 years or so the luxury brand premium fades away and you end up at the same point. I would think the two are about the same value in 3 years.
Historically the LC held value much better than the LX to the point used LX...
I'm 99% sure the LC trim has running boards.
I do not think the 4Runner Limited has power running boards, unless that is new for the '25, the current limited comes with fixed running boards.
I had the chance to see a GX in person and sit in it, but not drive it.
Exterior styling looks great in person. I think the Land Cruiser grill is better, but the overall look of the vehicle is great, much of which will come through on the LC as well.

I think these lists will contract pretty materially now that vehicles are shipping. I have refundable deposits at two Toyota dealers and am on a "will call" list at a Lexus dealer, I ended up agreeing to buy a LC at a non-list dealer and as soon as I get delivery I'm dropping off three lists...

Does anyone know how Toyota balances allocation between dealers? I was told by a dealer that total allocation is basically driven by 4Runner volume, so big 4Runner dealers will get more LC allocation.
However, update to update seems very chunky where a dealer may get 4 allocated, may get zero...
At this point I assume that if you see a LC listed or if it shows up on Smart Path it is a $5K mark up. In KC it seems like dealers who are selling at MSRP are selling these almost as soon as they get the allocation and dealers who are charging a big mark up are seeing slots stay open. I'm not...
The ones I have seen on Smart Path seem to pretty consistently have the roof cross bars added ($560) but not the roof rack ($1,400), I'm pretty sure the roof rack is what is on the First Edition.
Hopefully it is a game of hide and seek, if TX hasn't gotten any allocations that means at some point Toyota has to allocate a lot of these to TX to catch that market up, which is bad news for those of us in the rest of the country.
I can't tell if the Java will be cool or not, I don't like it in the mock up photos Toyota has, but it looks good in some of the preview videos, would be good to see in person.
I just had a dealer reach out with an allocation of a Land Cruiser trim level, unfortunately a color that I don't want, but incredible to see some of the Land Cruiser trim showing up in the pipeline. I think we are about to see a big increase in allocations over the next month or so.
Pleased to hear positive review with the European diesel engine, makes me hopeful that the extra horsepower and torque you get with the US hybrid will translate to an even better review.

That sheet identifies about 550 First Editions, and it seems like the rollout to dealers has been a trickle, if there are going to be 5,000 of these and they are supposed to be the first two shipments, first two months then it seems like there should be a flood of FE in the next month?
