The LC250 probably needs a stand alone liquid to air heat exchanger put on. Manufacturers have started to omit these to cut costs and run higher transmission temps because the hotter transmission fluid is thinner and less resistant to pumping resulting in marginal fuel economy improvements.

The T24A-FTS has two fuel injection systems as part of D4s. When the port injectors take over the direct injection noise will stop. Depending engine load, emissions compliance etc the engine can switch seamlessly between direct or port injection.

Yes. Direct injectors firing off at 5000 PSI make some noise. Plus the high pressure fuel pump runs off of a cam lobe, so you hear the pump ticking away too.
