Sorry for the miscommunication. I was talking about owning them in general. The ones in the photo are the ones I want as well but can't source them yet.
I love them. I have had them on every car I've ever owned. Personally, for me it's more about leaving the windows cracked while I'm parked. Living in FL and all.
Have you had luck with any vendor getting delivery? I posted a thread the other day. A company called blackhawk japan has the modellista accessories for sale. I've no experience with them.
A lot of the genuine oem and 3rd party (Jaos, Modellista) products can't be found easily. You can definitely get knock off items from China that are similar but aren't the same.
Blackhawk Japan looks to now be selling the Modellista accessories for the LC250 that were available in Japan at launch. I don't have any affiliation with the website but wanted to share with the community. Some cool items and some gimmicky ones...
Did my first oil change at about 2500 - 2600 miles. Took the car into Toyota at 5K miles and had them do the 10K service which included another oil change. Currently at about 6500 miles and will do another oil change myself at about around 8500 - 9000 miles. As many have said you won't hurt the...
LC with 20s on stock tires. FWIW anecdotally I've found just regular driving with my light foot gets around 21.X mpg on Sport. When I tried to get the best mpgs intentionally I drove in eco, light foot doing my best to not engage the turbo. My mpg went up to 23.X
Perhaps keep an eye on the...
If you haven't seen the full Japanese catalogue here is the post on this forum where the pdf is located:
Land Cruiser Trim headlight swap to First Edition Lights
They have all kinds of stuff over in Japan. I even saw a mini water bottle holder that goes over the ac vent! Meanwhile in NA we can't even buy the tonneau cover for the rear cargo area.
Dude that's awesome I've been sweating a ton of these items since i saw the Japan catalogue on this forum. Wish I could get my hands on some of them too. Thanks for sharing!
Regardless of a vehicle's reliability history, consistent maintenance is key to longevity. I’m willing to spend more on things like frequent oil changes because I believe that's how you achieve reliability from any vehicle, new or old.
