That doesn’t sound right. Perhaps the dealer made a mistake. I was under the impression front and rear all weather mats are standard. Carpet mats are $179. And rear cargo is $130 for either carpet or all weather. If I am correct the dealer owes you all weather floor mats and you owe the dealer...
Key fob will be limited in distance also whereas the app will work as long as you have service. The one thing I don’t like about my 4Runner is that the wiper/mirror defrost automatically turns off when you turn off the engine. So remote starting won’t have it on, although I try to remember to...
I would be careful with the talk of no rub and larger tires on this forum. SOME people won’t ever take their lc off road and that’s fine, that is their choice. If you do go off road, especially rock crawling, you’ll want to be sure you don’t rub at full stuff/full lock. Another issue to think...
I can understand IF it needs maintenance it will be costly but that’s probably the rare exception. I beat the hell out of my 4Runners and never had a problem with kdss. Granted I don’t lift them and put 35” tires on. I once sunk it in the lake with ice up to the top of the tires, wasn’t...
Apparently the fe has a spare wheel/rim that matches the other rims. Can anyone vouch for the lc premie on 20’s if the spare also matches what’s on the vehicle?
I’m in the same situation as you. I don’t know if they are available for sale yet. I was fortunate and purchased a set of take offs from a fe on eBay. Seller said 500 miles and showed pics of couple light scuffs. $750. Due to arrive any day now. I’ll look for a part# on them and post it up. Keep...
I’ve had 2 4r’s with kdss (still have 1) and I haven’t heard of the maintenance you talk of. Please enlighten me. The only maintenance I can imagine on the sway bar would be to disconnect/connect a couple times a year just so that it gets usage. I’m not a mechanic or off road guru, but I’m sure...
I don’t see it either. I purchased some 18’s off a lc or fe from ebay and the part# wasn’t listed there either. It may be a few more months before part #’s are released.
I’m fairly certain those running boards pictured are part of the premie package. I didn’t really want them but probably won’t take them off either. I don’t think they are add ons like the roof rack for example.
It’s a toss up probably depending on what area of the country you’re in. I know my dealer told me all the premies are coming with 20” rims. I’m sure somewhere someone gets them with 18” because the 20’s are an option. I’m in the northeast.
So if I wanted to make a lc trim out of a fe it would cost me 4k for tires, a couple grand for the upgraded rectangular lights. Probably a grand for the upgraded roof rack. Another grand for running boards not to mention it is already 6k more… Honestly, they are both great vehicles and...
Like most others with premies, mine is coming with 20’s. I usually have 2 sets of wheels/tires. Summer/ winter I like OEM and almost pulled the trigger on a set of ‘24 taco trd pro wheels which look good but then today some 18” OEM ‘24 lc wheels showed up on ebay. Getting those and will fit with...
Called my salesman’s about 3 weeks ago told him I wanted a lc/lc trim. He said he had two coming in and both were spoken for. He said he could put my name on the next allocation. About a week ago he called said he was able to trade a 1958 allocation with another dealer for a lc. Said it would...
