I have a Weathertech cargo liner and it is great. Perfect fit and a nice high lip to keep mud and dirt off of the carpet. Here's a photo of it in my LCLC.https://www.landcruiserforum.com/attachments/2024-08-17-jpg.8553/
My LCLC, without premium package, doesnt have a moonroof. Ergo, no sunshade either.
But I believe all LCs equipped with a moonroof have the features you mentioned.
Man, I hope you're right. Simple solutions are best. The electronics, computers and software have gotten so complex and pervasive in modern vehicles that I wouldn't expect the guys at a dealership to be able to diagnose, let alone solve, anything but the most basic problems.
Makes me miss the...
Interesting. My buddy has an RX 350 that does that as well, He says it just started doing that recently. My LC did that at first but doesn't any more.
I'd like to see how to toggle that feature on and off. I can see where it might come in handy in some circumstances, like navigating tight...
I'm consistently getting 23.1 to 23.3 from tank to tank. I drive it around town, of course, but the majority of my mileage is accumulated driving back and forth from the Denver area (5280' elevation) over various passes (10,000 ' to 11,000') to places in the mountains (generally around 8,000')...
My wife and I went up in the rockies yesterday. What a fun climb, rocky, rutted and steep sections leading to a beautiful alpine lake,
Sorry my photos aren't better. The scenery was fantastic and the fishing was great.
Seat Back Covers and Weathertech Cargo Liner
I posted this on a thread about floor mats but thought it might be of interest to those who view this thread regularly. BTW, these seat backs look identical to the Smabee ones, which makes me think Smabee and Rongsen are related companies...
I got and installed the Rongsen seat back protectors. I was pretty disappointed with their quality and packaging. But, they should do the job.
First, I paid a lot for what I got: $58 for the liners and $20 for shipping from China. Add tax and it came to $84. These seat back covers are cheaply...
My LCLC is our 6th Toyota hybrid. I've checked the hybrid battery filters (just a screen) on all of them and none of them needed changing, or even cleaning. We bought a 2009 Highlander Hybrid for our nephew last May and I checked its battery filter. Again, no cleaning required.
In all of our...
I enjoy hand washing mine in the summer. I have a routine that makes it quick and pretty easy. A step stool, two buckets, car wash soap, microfiber mitts, Claifornia Blade (for initial dry-off), microfiber towel (for final dry), NoTouch for tires, big sponge for wheels, wipe down door jambs, and...
OMG, what a great video! And a real testament to the off-road capability of our new ride. I have the biggest smile on my face.
Thanks for posting this.
I took out the engine air filter and noted the part number. Maybe you can use that to find OEM ones on Amazon.
It was number "Toyota 17801-31180 (Denso EHH25)"
This thread is labeled "LC250 vs Cybertruck." Although it's meant to deal with sales figures, it got me thinking about a funny experience we had.
Right after buying my LCLC, some neighbors wanted to go for a ride. We decided to go to a restaurant in Denver. We were stopped at a light when a...
If I were king of Toyota, I'd find a way to shorten the engine compartment a few inches and add that extra space to the cargo area. While I was at it, I'd add a larger fuel tank, a dashboard shelf and a few cubbies in the front seating area.
I got the non-premium LC and it was undoubtedly the best choice for me.
Pros:
Softex instead of leather (I like leather but it's not as durable)
Running Boards (much better foothold than rock rails)
Didn't pay for things I never use (sunroof, digital rearview mirror, nanny cam on steering...
I'd read that the LC get's maximum torque at around 1,700 rpms. That didn't seem right as I believed that, for gas engines, torque equalled (HP x RPMs)/5,252. I took that to mean that torque and HP are always equal at 5,252 RPMs, which is a lot higher than 1,700 RPMs.
But as a lot of the LC's...
Proj626, you still own the LC, right? Have you decided what you are going to do with it? Maybe keep it and ask for compenation, or tell them to buy t back, or something else? Mybe the dealer has suggested some kind of resolution?
Okay, the company Panther bought the entire floor liner set from is SMABEE, the same company that sells the excellent console tray. But they don't sell the seat back protectors separately.
So, I just ordered seat back protectors from RONGSEN on Amazon, using this link...
Let us know how well the seat back covers fit. I'm particularly interested in something to protect my seat backs from the wet/muddy fishing and hiking gear I tend to carry. (I'm still waiting on the Weathertech cargo liner I ordered.)
Edit: Sorry, I just noticed you said they fit "killer,"...
