I don't know about common practice but I do know my other vehicles. If I run them dry they get filled up with the exact number of gallons that the manual states it holds. Whereas the LC it seems like it does not happen this way.

You could just reach out to them. They're very responsive. Initially I was considering them. However, because of the deletion of the storage next to the tailgate, I stopped considering it.

I keep on hearing about this reserve fuel tank on the Toyota LC. However, I have not come across any documentation from Toyota stating as such. Does anybody have any information from Toyota that there is an actual reserve tank somewhere

Yes. I spoke with them about 3 months ago and they said it was high on their priority list as soon as they could get an actual LC in the shop they would start fabrication
