Finally picked up my FE trail dust last night after a 2 month QC hold at port. Introducing the new member of the family to its sibling.

Mine finally arrived at the dealer! After several months at the port in Portland I got the call. Hope the battery is topped off. Going to pick it up later this week.

I just checked the code this morning as last night it was still F. It changed to G this am. That is progress. Maybe it will finally make the 7th ETA given to me by the dealer.

Portland is where all the Toyota's come into for the NW area. I put a deposit down on one last year for the color and FE. Then when they got allocated they assigned the VIN's to everyone. I was 10th on the list then and who knows now?

I have had 6 ETA's so far come and go for my FE and it still sits in port. Arrived 2 months ago. Frustrating as I first put my deposit in last year. Today marked the 6th ETA come and gone.

Yeah I have them on my older landcruiser and love them. They are E rated. I think the E rating vs SL or whatever is overhyped and you don't notice the difference. If anything my landcruiser actually feels better with the E rated tires more planted and doesn't wander as much but that may just...

I should have lemon lawed my ford f150. They replaced the engine twice once at 35k and again at 50k both times it misfired badly. Went into limp mode and they replaced everything. I got rid of it once warranty was up.

I assume you need cell service for the app to work or wifi? I am constantly in no cell coverage areas, remote so I doubt this app will be useful for me? Am I wrong?

Another dealer is getting same FE in trail dust on the 20th with no QA hold so I might switch and pick that up instead. Only have $1000 refundable deposit down anyways on original.

What was the average quality control delay experienced? My FE arrived at port in Portland 6/29. Many ETA's have come and gone and now no more eta's are even listed anymore. Its stuck in "quality control" as my dealer states. I am trying to figure out what I am really looking at for wait...

He said it was due to the different drivers. One was more heavy footed and the other went slower? This was not a conclusive video at all. Not even worth recording it or making it public?

I went with a dealer who is msrp but who have added on dealer accessories all ppf added and ceramic coating on an FE. I tried to get out of the ppf but no luck. All other dealers around here are adding a $5000 market adjustment for nothing still.

I need an all season that is good in the snow as this will be used a lot in the snow. yeah our subaru has winter tires I put on every year Blizzaks and its a pain. My truck has all season on them snowflake rated and so much easier. Going the all season route with the landcruiser.

Did you get new tpms sensors? Waiting on getting the actual vehicle on hand but I did buy new wheels and tires.

Deposit Aug manufactured in May. Arrived at Portland Oregon port 6/29 ETA to dealer 7/3, 7/19, 7/27, now 8/1. As of today still in F mode.

The FE might only be made this year and so will be a one off production. I can only stipulate from that the resale will be better in the long run because there are only 5000 units made.

still have the FJ62 in blue but decided to go trail dust as I didn't want 2 blue cars. I wanted more choices.

Dealer is requiring ppf on mine as premium on the FE. I tried to tell them I didn't want it but no dice. Better then paying $5000 for market adjustment which is what all the other dealers are doing here and you get nothing. Door edge and chip guards, hood chip ppf.

I don't have mine yet either but my app is showing same health code on it. Expected delivery is this week.

Very nice! I will be in similar situation soon. I have an 88 FJ62 and I am getting an FE when it arrives soon hopefully. I agree with the nostalgia part as that is also why I decided to buy it as it looks similar to the FJ60 series.

If it misses this next window I might just do that but FE are harder to come by.
