Within 100 miles of me 2 days ago there were 3 LC/FE trims. Today there are over 30. Theyre coming. They might just be getting adjusted a little bit as the backlog filters out.
I believe someone else has reported this error on the NHTSA website as well. No clue as to the reason. David is wrong. You can go on toyota.com/search-inventory and see many RK First Editions. As well as R5 versions of the other trims. Both facilities make all of the trims.
I'm local to you and will have the rails. No crossbars though. I'd be happy just to trade for your rail delete kit when mine comes in in the next week or so.
I think I see mine! Kidding, though I do see a couple pearls with 20s. My salesman is out today :(. Mine still isn't on smartpath but it's actually looking way more hopeful that itll be here before the 4th than I thought
As of this morning it seems now that every LC at my dealer that was on hold except 1 has dates some time in the next week. Anxiously awaiting a response from my sales guy.
It's not even like the LC trim is just the "luxury" trim. It has more tech, plush, AND is a better offroader.
I'll agree the power running boards thing is weird though. I can't imagine needing those for a stock height vehicle.
The FE on smartpath that showed up in the same allocation wave as me LC LC just got new dates. Unfortunately my LC isn't on smartpath anymore (hasn't been for weeks) so I don't know if it also has dates or not:(
Even all of the other stuff removed, the offroad features like SDM, the 360 cameras, and to a lesser extent the MTS would make it worth it to me. Add in all of the other stuff like bigger screens, power seats, AC seats (incredible on hot wheeling days), etc and it's a VERY easy decision.
I think it varies based off of more than just sequential order. Mine was built in April and ends in 4000ish. It was allocated in the 2nd or 3rd round of nationwide allocations
Can confirm. Just checked my dealer and looks like a couple have dates now.
Edit: One has a date now. It's the one with the lowest stock number on my dealer's site (3/10 had stock numbers appear in the last couple of weeks). I don't know what determines if a stock number shows up on the site or...
Pretty sure the cutting was for when they put on the 38s.
Edit: I guess it was minimal trimming. Guessing that means just removing the front fairings in front of the tires and trimming a tiny bit. None-the-less it was still trimming and not 100% stock.
I believe Dissent fit 35x11.5 with no rubbing. 285/70R18 is also proven to have no rubbing.
Edit to add both of these are referring to aftermarket wheels. Have not see either fit on stock wheels.
In the modern era every corporation is in the data business. I can't remember what manufacturer it was but one of the auto companies (I think Ford) made more money in a year selling data than they did cars recently. Even if you turn off the app data, they will be collecting data off your car...
My dealer has a LC trim coming in 7/10 that's unreserved. Been considering just switching my reservation to that one but I'm not a huge fan of Heritage Blue. Plus I've gotten attached to my one on hold!
