Which wheel? Pics? 17” seems like logical choice to me when fitting off-road tires but focus here seems to be 18s. I was wondering if I was missing something. On my HDJ80 I’m rocking 16” OE wheels.

OK, I'm an idiot. I was looking at diameter of the 18" 285/75 which of course is more than the 17" 285/75. Did you attempt to fit one in spare location? How'd that go?

Wait....just so we are clear. You fitted a 34.8" tire on what I think is a 17x8.5 +35mm wheel and you had no rubbing through full steering arc before lift? This would be largest tire I have heard of yet that has no rubbing at all.

Hey thank you for the quick reply. Seems my truck already has a black metal skid plate. Do we know if the part numbers mentioned provide better or more coverage? I don't want to pay a couple hundred bucks to upgrade from black to silver!
