I recently swapped my tires and got aftermarket tpms sensors from discount tire. I'm able to see the tire pressure in the Toyota app, but not on my dash? Any ideas?

This sounds similar to my situation, what did you do to iron it out? Little worried about resetting via pg 561 instructions and losing them entirely again (see post above, tried that). When I first got my winter wheels and tires there was an issue and the new TPMS sensors were not initialized by the shop. This caused the display in the LC to show blank but the app reported the last reading, it showed on the app that the reading was from the day I got the new wheels installed.
Eventually I got it all straightened out and the LC screen showed a reading and the app updated it's readings to match. In my case it required correctly initializing the sensors then adding them to the LC via the menu then waiting a day for them to actually get picked up by the LC.
Wait so before you set the tires under settings, did you see updated information in the app every time you drove the vehicle, or was that data old? After my sensors were installed and properly initialized I followed the instructions on pg 561 for Registering ID Codes.

It was not immediate. I drove around for quite awhile with nothing showing. Then later when my son was using my LC the readings just showed up. Maybe my son needs to fly to you and drive yours
