New Bumper & Brush Guard

From what I can tell from the pictures there are mounting points for all the front sensors that are in your OEM bumper or front of the vehicle. Their website says that you may have to go to the dealership to get them recalibrated after you’ve installed the bumper.
It’s a new product so the installation instructions available on their website aren’t posted yet to look into it further.
I’ll let you know how it goes once mine shows up and I get it installed.

C4 and LFD also make one that looks less busy than the Rago IMO. Not crazy about all the triangles. I can't speak about if they all have the sensor thing dialed in though.

Repair has been estimated to be completed in 3-4 months due to limited availability of parts. Initial repair estimate $2k. Was told prob be more once they tear down. 😬 Any feedback appreciated if anyone has ordered a new bumper/brush guard yet and what has been your experience with the vendor? Looking at the Land Cruiser LC250 2024+ Front Bumper-LC250-FB but lead time is forever.

I like the Expedition One as well. If somebody can confirm all sensors work on it - they are a bit vague. ARB states the cross traffic alerts won’t work, I believe. Plus the ARB have their own lights - I’d like to use the factory fog lights.
Hi Brian,

I've been unable to find ARB specs for the LC on their web site. Are you seeing specific data? Can you post a link?

Thanks!

C

Well, I cannot find any specific data. I can only find links for the SEMA build. I cannot also backup what I said about the cross-traffic alert, but I recall reading the front CTA wouldn't work. There's nothing out there from my search skills - sorry!

Hey Brian!

No worries. I was just hoping you'd found something concrete.

I have an ARB bumper on the back of my FJ Cruiser and one of the reasons I went that way was that it DID support the parking sensors. And, since it looks like maybe the factory bull bars we've seen on Aussie-market LCs was sourced from ARB, I hold out hope that when theirs comes to market it'll be able to hold all the sensors... maybe that's why ARB is behind other manufacturers on coming to market...

If I'm honest, I don't really care a lot about CTA, since mostly it seems to tell me what I already know... but my ideal version would keep any/all OEM sensors so I don't have to worry come resale day...

I guess we'll see once it actually turns up.

How far out does the Rago sit? Will it protect the panels under the lights as well? We have a ton of deer here and I've had 3 close calls in just 2 months. I feel I need something.

Unfortunately, this one will not do much if you hit a deer. The lower bumper, fender, will not be protected with ragos. Arb comes out in March and Expedition One has one that has 3-4 months lead time. Those 2 have the protection down low you need.

I just saw this rear bumper come across my YouTube feed.

Looks interesting. Has anyone ever uses company before?

If anybody is going to increase the fuel capacity and use the spare tire area for that. Then relocating the spare tire to the rear bumper would be needed.

I could see this being useful.
