Pros / Cons of satin or matte ppf wrap vs gloss ?

I'm picking up my 2025 LC250 in Meteor Shower next week and I'm on the fence about the ppf. It's not cheap, but I think I can live with the quote I got to do full vehicle XPEL Stealth, a semi-matte / satin finish, but XPEL also offers several gloss options for pretty much the same money. I like the look of the satin, but despite the XPEL 10 year warranty I'm a little concerned about real world longevity. Primarily things like would bug splatter or bird droppings or buffing out minor damage cause "glossy spots" in the ppf? Would general wear and tear from washing? Is the satin surface less smooth and consistent than gloss meaning dirt adheres more readily? I've had gloss ppf on vehicles before, but never matte/satin so hoping for feedback from folks with real world experience to balance the dealer/installers "it's magic and flawless and don't worry about it" schtick. Thanks!

I'm leaning towards clear satin over the Meteor Shower, but here's a few pics I found online of a rather fetching olive satin wrap for reference.

I had one of my Raptors Stealth wrapped.
Pros:
-It is very resistant to scratches, door dings, and all things damaging to paint ( including the sun). It really does self heal in the sun.
-Looks are subjective, but I really liked the look of the satin on my white truck. It was subtle with the white, but people commented often of liking the paint, not even knowing it was clear matte PPF
-Easy to wash. Raptor was too big for many car washes so I did it by hand with the two bucket method. Never took over 15 mins. Grime gets into the finish more easily than paint, but washes up well. No problem with buffing a spot to gloss. It doesnt ever need buffing.
-dont have to dry it perfectly. a spot here or there of water after washing is not noticeable. Drying doesnt have to be as perfect

Cons:

-cost is lost.
- any untucked edge (there are areas where you cant tuck the edge of the film into a gap) will build up grime. You have to be up close to see it but for some it bothers them
-Unknown longevity. I had my truck for 5 years and the Expel Stealth looked fine. Im in Az and I have a hunch after a few more years it would have yellowed from the sun. It has a 10 year warranty, but will the shop installing it be there in 10 years to make it right if it yellows? I have never seen any good info 10 years out on Stealth. 5 years, I can confirm is doable in harsh conditions

Stealth wraps look good in photos, but some edges they cannot wrap (such as if two panels are tightly butting up against each other), so the gloss paint will catch light and stick out. Up to you if you are okay with that, but important to know.

Iโ€™ve been leaning toward the matte finish on the my FE Trail Dust color. Iโ€™m planning on leaving the white top as is and not wrapping it. I think a wrap really set it apart from others and look great. I had wrapped my FJ Cruiser and never had issues when branches or rocks would pop up on trails. It was a great protection and looked amazing.
