Where are the TRUNK mounting points? Want to add a plywood sheet ie Goose Gear style?

Where is it safe to anchor to in the floor so as to not hit the battery?
The goose gear platforms are bolted down where the metal ‘cage’ is bolted. That is to say, the bottom of the cage’s legs where they meet the floor. Nothing on the goose gear is bolted to the top of the cage/battery

Seeing that now. Like a million steps to install that thing. :/

Hoping to just throw plywood over the trunk and bolt in a few places.

Here’s a thought, assuming you removed the back row seats:

Plywood board, 6 4x4s. 4 of the 4x4s go over the bolted legs, two go at the front of the bed all the way to the floor. Drill through the 4x4s that are over the battery bolts, then screw down with some real long bolts. Voila

You can check out my build thread for my platform. I unbolted the tie down latches near the rear seats and bought longer bolts to do exactly what you are talking about. It works great and is incredibly solid.
