To whom are you referring to? Most of the mats pictured are the Toyota OEM "all weather cargo mat". I have an extra one (I ordered it before I got the LC) but it would cost a lot to ship it to Cali.Dude. You're costing me money. The mat for the cargo area? Where did you get that?
OP for sure, he got some cool stuff. Wasn't sure if the mat was OEM or not. They gave me a carpet mat but I put dogs and real estate signs back there so rubber makes more sense. To whom are you referring to? Hello, are this little nets still working out for you? We are on our first long road trip and boy is the lack of storage apparent. Where do I put my @#$@# phone. Anyway, if this is working we’re going to be ordering. Thanks! So I ordered these off Amazon - they were like $10
I had my car pretty shined up, so I used some alcohol prep pads and cleaned the appropriate area.
I’ve only used this one day so o cannot speak to sticking a billing term
- it does come with red 3m type pull tape - so far so good
Mine came off minutes after I stuck the phone on it even though I'd cleaned the area thoroughly and let it cure a couple of days... I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this.Hello, are this little nets still working out for you? We are on our first long road trip and boy is the lack of storage apparent. Just about anything that uses adhesive to mount isn't going to last with any type of weight put in it. I used "binder posts" to securely mount mine. When traveling, I keep my "L" shaped device in it with no issues. If you search this forum for "EOD Guy's ride" ...... that's what they look like.Hello, are this little nets still working out for you? I have the same storage pocket organizer as EOD guy, looks nice (thx for the suggestion! ) . Used several pieces of the 3M scotch mount double-sided extreme mounting strips (414H-ST). Trimed the strips to fit over the cheap adhesive on the pouch. Thought I'd try before going the more permanent route. Cleaned area with diluted rubbing alcohol first. Seems to be working so far (1000 miles and counting). Haven't used for L-shaped device but working well for lightweight stuff, phone etc.Just about anything that uses adhesive to mount isn't going to last with any type of weight put in it. I thought about it for a while, my rationale for the permanent mount............ This vehicle is always going to need storage, so I'm never going to remove them and if I ever sell it, it's not going to detract from the selling price.I have the same storage pocket organizer as EOD guy, looks nice (thx for the suggestion! ) . Sorry very busy weekend just now checking into the forum. The nets were really great to hold my phone and key however, I have not had a chance honestly to figure out how to use them because mounting them on the side where I had the mounting does not work out. It slides and will not stay in place. There was some advice given about pulling up a trim piece in order to make this work and that very well may work. I just haven’t had a chance to get around to that yet.Hello, are this little nets still working out for you? We are on our first long road trip and boy is the lack of storage apparent. Before you trash them you might try adding some clear/black plastic strips that could be bolted to the pouches and wrapped around the knee bolster and glued to the back of the bolster. There are many different colored plastic containers in which you could cut the strips from......... Ie... clear the more expensive flavored water bottles, for black oil bottles etc......... might be worth your time to experiment.Nice little pockets, but adhesive will not stick even using alcohol wipes to clean surface. Seems like a common issue with anything using a stick-on solution. Not sure I want to drill a hole to bolt them on, so probably will trash them.
