True! As you can see, the 10, 12, and 14 are all well used from working on my 200 series.

Well, she finally arrived unexpectedly about a week and a half ago and I've been busy.

Day 4 - Roof rails and cross bars replaced with a Prinsu. So far, very happy with the rack. No noise to speak of and strong as can be. Install took about 3 hours simply because I was taking my time and being extra careful to not break or scratch anything.

Day 7 - Forgot that I'd squeezed this in between day 6 and 8. Oil change and swapped drain plug with the Votex magnetic plug to hopefully capture any stray bits of ferromagnetic metals that may have been left behind during the manufacturing process. I'll replace this at 5,000 miles with a Fumoto drain plug.

Thanks! The offset is 40mm as opposed to the OEM 60mm.

Added some cleats/tiedowns to the rack:

Added some handles for the rack. One on each side and one at the back. Makes it so much easier to climb up and hold on while dealing with things on the rack.

Replaced this with a Fumoto valve. Fortunately, there was very little material stuck to the end of the magnet when I pulled it out yesterday.

Got started on my wiring plan today by installing the Garmin switch to the power supply. Now I'll start running accessories to the switch.

Also, got the Amazon gas struts for the hood installed. I'd rate them a 3 out of 5 stars. I'll keep them on until something better comes along.
