If anyone is looking to see what kind of junk Gulf States Toyota tries to make you buy at insane markups as “port stalled accessories”
that “Can’t be taken off” Here are some photos along with the pricing. My favorite was my wife. “I’m sorry mam these are port installed accessories and can’t be removed.” She l
threw her charging cable on the table and said. “Removed and given to you, please give me $75.”

Not all bad, they included the all weather floor mats for $0. My wife has them in her GX and they’ve held up and work way better than my weather techs I had in my tundra.

The $150 rear cargo mat is probably worth it. Other than that it’s all junk.

Has anyone had any luck getting them to remove the $399 “Vehicle Protection Package”. It’s sealant and fabric guard….but looks like it isn’t even pre-applied?

The one I'm picking up next week doesn't have it. I think the key is to make a deal before the car makes it to the distributor. Some dealers appear to be able to cancel the port installed options. I sorted out the deal on mine while it was still in production. Was able to avoid all of the add-ons except Toyoguard Platinum.

How does the Toyoguard’s 2 free oil changes work? Used after the factory-provided free maintenance ends at 25K?

All of it is about a 500% markup. Maybe not the mat and crossbars, but bottom line it’s just another gimmick to push asking price above Msrp and still falsely orally claim it’s still msrp due to the dealer/port installed junk. Ask them to write up the offer that that are selling at the msrp price and they will back down because they know that would be a lie at Toyota would be on them. I went back and forth with them over phone and email and eventually got them to agree to a small discount below true msrp. They still put all that junk in the back of the car as they don’t want it back either no one would actually pay $75 for a set of usb cables.
