Anyone make a matte black hood decal, yet?

I’d love to do this mod for it, but I know it’s such a new vehicle.
Had on my FJ, my current Gladiator and wife’s Wrangler.
If anyone knows a site, can they post?

I’m curious as to why you would want this type of a modification? Does it serve a purpose?

On a 4Runner with a hood scoop, you get a blinding relfection at certain angles that goes directly in the drivers eyes. Ive heard others do it with roof mounted lights to cut down on glare as well.

Thanks.

90% of the time I'd say it's just to be cool looking........ I've never had a blinding glare from a shiny hood. I guess if the sun was just right, nose down on a steep incline and my face was planted in the windshield........ there might be some glare...... IDK.

Only ever noticed it in my 4Runner, and it was blinding. Sunglasses did nothing, as it focused the sun like a magnifying glass.

I did this on my 4Runner. The scoop would glare bad. I took it to a shop and just showed them photos of what I wanted. $300 and a couple hours later it was perfect. After a couple years the wrap had faded a bit, but whatever, it was a truck. Still worked.

I've had the LC for about a month now. I have had no issues with glare. Would it help? Possibly. Would it look cool? Probably. Is it needed? Nah.

You probably could get a company that does wraps to make one.... What would a Balck Carbon fiber hood decal/wrap look like?

My hood scoop never gave me any glare on my 5th gen. Never could understand why others complained. I am 6.2 so maybe the height helped.

Topo maps on the hood would probably look cool!
Wasn’t there a topo map wrap on a Range Rover at one time? That would look really cool on a Cruiser all tricked out!

I've done quite a few of these. It will come down to picking a shape. Our current machines only print about 18.6 inches wide but the length is unlimited. Have also thought about doing two parts ones with a little gap down the middle.

Logistically the smaller machines make it easier to ship and handle these kind of vinyls. Both for us and the customer.

We have done larger matte hood overlays for the Defender.

18 inches you say?.... I doubt this is feasible or would even look right but here is a very rough mockup of the 18" wheels with a topo decal... Trail Dust color in mind with the bronze Toyota wheel caps. Would be kind of cool to find someone who could powder coat the wheels with a design like this.... or is this hideous?

If I could make a template it would probably work. Rolling down the road you might make people go crazy 🤣.

Someone was talking earlier with my support girl and suggested this:
