Official Delivery/Possession Update Thread

Curious, how far are you taking the clear bra? Wrapping the entire vehicle? I'm highly considering it but considering wrapping only up to the A-pillar.
It’s a dealer package - so just 18” hood and fenders, a pillars, door edges and handles.

" Left the dealership in Sport mode, but it was too jumpy off the line, etc. It’s fun to drive, and I love the visibility."
I LOVE Sport mode with the hybrid motor. But I think it really only shines when you're in traffic/highway situations where you need to be a bit more nimble and have quicker responses to what's happening around you. (Coming from a Hybrid Sequoia)

Picked up my Underground LC with premium package on Thursday in Western WA and loving it so far! 159 miles on the OD and drives great…. But maybe it just feels especially nice given that I am coming from an 05 4Runner lol

Finally picked up my FE on Thursday in Richmond, Va. Put Method 316 gloss titanium 18x9 +18 offset with 275/70/18’s on. Fits in the spare with stock wheel. So far I love this thing coming from a 2015 4Runner Trail premium. Just trying to get used to all the tech and gas pedal 😂

No status change on the MyToyota App but dealer says still showing as ETA Oct 24 on his system

Hump77, that looks awesome! I just got my allocation for a Heritage Blue LC trim set to arrive mid-August - early September and am trying to figure out wheels and tires. Can you send pictures from directly in front and behind? That'll give me an idea of how yours differ from stock. Thanks!

I’ll get some pictures up tomorrow for you.

congrats what size tires ?
Stock size 265/70r18 - Toyo Open Country AT3 (E Load / 10ply). Really happy keeping the stock size with the more aggressive tire as they are plenty big. (And I’m coming from 35 KO2s on a Jeep) I’ve got the Toyota center caps on the way so excited to see how they look.

I’ve never understood why they would use a E rated/ten ply tire, on such a lightweight ‘truck’. A ‘one ton’ truck.. yes.. but a LC?

Hi all, Something weird happened to my Land Cruiser Land Cruiser with premium package in meteor shower color. Total miles 66. I picked up on Friday night, July 12th. Came home and found battery failing. Trunk would not open or close. Next day Saturday, July 13th, there were no lights, no beeps, no sound, all displays were dark. After watching a YouTube video moved gear to neutral. 2 persons tried very hard to push it out of the garage but failed. So could not be towed. Today, Thursday, July 18th, RoadSide brought a battery booster and determined that battery is totally dead. Last 6 days, Cruiser has not moved an inch. Tried to find a replacement battery, but owners' manual does not give much info like group # or post terminal types or dimensions. Battery is in the back. Car is stuck in the garage. I have no access to my own battery, so can not find the group #. Sent an email to Toyota but still waiting for them to get back to me. Possibly group / AGM 48

Probably due to the electric parking brake. You should be able to hook a jump box to the under hood jumpstart point and get it to start that way or at least get the parking brake off.

EOD GUY Thank you very much. 2nd RoadSide tech did start but advised that I need to drive it to change battery first. Before going anywhere. He said battery had nothing in it and cells are possibly damaged. I could not access my own battery in back trunk, so do not know the group #. Needed to know that before leaving home. Did not want to go where they may not have the correct battery. Toyota is emphasizing a whole lot about case size, which is LN3. It should not shake or be loose at all.

EOD Guy you are an amazing and awesome person. You are saying electric parking brake may have drained my battery is highly surprising to me

Oh no not saying the parking brake drained the battery. Just saying the reason 2 persons couldn't push it out of the garage........... sorry for the confusion.

According to NAPA it's a "BCI No. 48"
According to Toyota it's P/N 00544-21171-LW

As far as why it drained, the remote lock/unlock and anti theft systems are always "on" they use very little juice but over time they use juice. My Taco had a very similar issue as the battery went flat about 2 weeks after I purchased it. It was covered by warranty and was replaced for free by the dealership. I had already purchased a new battery in order to get it to the dealership, but they swapped changed it out with a Toyota battery (I took the old Toyota battery with me) free of charge.

My hard and fast rule on batteries..... if it goes flat, I make sure it was nothing I accidently left on, charge it to full capacity and if it goes flat again........ new battery. There is nothing like being stranded by a dead battery and just isn't worth it to me.
