When will LC250 arrive Canada

I pick up my blue FE a week from Monday. (It's already at the dealership, just working around various people's vacations.)
Sweet, where is it? We have a blue one on order but no exact date yet but the indicated late July
Yes I’m thinking I need to be thankful to be in Alberta now where it’s ‘just’ 5%.
15% Tax in B.C .. absolutely nuts

Yeah, it usually is 12% but LC cost comes under luxury, hence 15%. It's totally BS

It seems the first batch sent must be 1958s as I see them advertised on marketplace all the time from Edmonton it seems though. $88k. They must be requiring you to buy every warranty & true coat to get to that figure. Because that’s what I thought I could get a premium for.
Looks like the High River Dealer Swapped tires and maybe some upgrades as the LC comes with crappy

Yokohama Geolandar X-CV street tires stock. Price is higher to reflect changes.

While it is true the OEM tires are lame, I think most people would want to choose their own.

Mine goes in for new rubber two days after I pick it up!

Yes they did. They look MUCH better. However they also tried to get me into one of the 2 vehicles they have, rather than waiting for mine to come in. They said they need to sell one of these, so I got the impression they are willing to negotiate.

I do have to say the 1958 trim wasn't nearly as bone stock and "plasticky" as I expected. Not soft touch, but looks decent enough, and the cloth seats were actually a lot nicer than I expected from watching videos.

Blue first edition spotted in chilliwack this am. This is their third land cruiser so far

Since this 1st editionis out, can someone confirm if 1st edition canadian version has a cool box? I am sure us has.
Just saw a 1st edition in Vancouver today before it was prepared for sale. It does not unless it’s something the dealer installs. I assumed it had the cooler box so was surprised it did t have it… at least yet. Had everthing else .

I’ve seen my First Edition, and pick it up in a few days. Definitely doesn’t have one. It’s one of the deletes from the Premium to go to First Edition. Also loses the digital key (which apparently is unreliable anyway) and the Traffic Jam Assist (that I will miss).

To me this does not make sense. I was under the impression that the first edition was supposed to be a special fully loaded vehicle. I guess Canada does things differently.

Purchased my 1958 in Ottawa yesterday - pick it up Friday. Only one left of a batch of four (one FE, two LCs, and a 1958). Dealer says they don't expect to receive any others until 2026.

What is the “luxury” threshold in BC?…..I agree any luxury tax is pure BS
I wondered this too & yes BS. I know federally it’s $100K. Which sounds like a lot, but in this day & age it’s not hard to get a ‘normal’ new car to $100K.

Weird dealer rules from Toyota corporate?

There are other aftermarket options that have more features and higher weight limits than the OEM rack too.

My thought was that maybe they deleted certain items that hard core offroaders don't necessarily want like the 20 inch rims, a few more nanny features to make beeping noises while offroading, a cooler box when a lotta these guys will have onboard fridges/coolers if they are truly overlanding in them, and a digital key that may be more prone to failure/glitches while out in the middle of nowhere. To me it kinda made sense TBH. I really have no interest in the cooler box - I'd prefer the additional storage.
