I feel like this is going to be a very popular choice for LC owners. I’m putting them on my LC, I love them on my TRD Pro Tundra so grabbed a set with spare.

I got stuck with a LC that is coming with 20" wheels so I think this will be my eventual setup before the winter. But maybe a different tire.
Same here. I can't decide if I'm keeping the 20s around for anything or not. The less aggressive tires are probably pretty decent for winter use here, but I'm not sure if swapping is worth the hassle. And the TRD pro wheels / Wildpeaks should be plenty good. I'd say just keep scanning for some takeoffs, and if you don't love the tires, they will be ready for replacement in a couple short years anyway

Did the same tire size and also on the stock wheels. Really think it’s a good balance all around. Beautiful truck

I can't decide if I want to go wider...... I am going taller and hopefully reusing the premium wheels that came off my Tacoma with 200 miles on them. Not sure if the offset will be ok on the stock Tacoma wheels and will work. I figure when the LC arrives, I'll do a test fit and if they look goofy, I've decided on the Method 903 bead grips. I put them on the Taco and really like them. Titanium should look pretty sharp on a black truck but don't want to spend the bucks if the Taco wheels look good as well.

the Method web list a 17" wheel with crazy addition info, I want to email them and ask bout the correct size for the LC. I will go slightly taller but not much wider.

Not sure the Volks come in an offset that wont poke out... most are 0et I think rays must have prepared their wheels for the new Toyota body on frame platform vehicles, they got some high offset wheels for these 6 lug application.

285 = that's how wide the Tire tread is
70 = how tall the tire is from the outer lip wheel (bigger the number taller the tire)
17 or 18 or 20 = the diameter of the wheel (17 is not a stock wheel dia that I'm aware of)
+60 off set = is how far the wheel/tire will stick out from the mounting flange. as an example ..... if you had a "0" off set and a 10" wheel/tire width, the wheel would mount and 5" would cover the brakes and you would have a 5" deep recess of wheel showing, which makes the tire also stick out 5".
With a +60 offset the wheel/tire would be in the stock position almost all of it covering the brakes. If you like wheels/tires that poke way out from the body you would go with a -40 and most of the tire would be outside the body. Sometimes you need the - offset to accommodate large tires for turning radius or use wheel spacers to accomplish the same thing.
I my case I'm looking at pretty close to stock stick out and just a bit taller.
Additionally lug nut spacing is super important, not all Toyota wheels have the same lug nut hole spacing. I'm pretty sure the 2020 Tacoma is the same along with a lot of other 6 lug Toyota 4X4s but not all.

After switching to larger KO3's my TPMS system on the dash is reading about 3 psi lower on each tire than my digital gauge. The dash reading was spot on with the stock tires. Anyone else see this after switching to a larger size? Going to call the tire place to make sure they didn't switch out the sensors. Will update.
Updated: Discount tire did not replace the sensors and say they should be reading the same as stock tires were.

Just a heads-up for those folks thinking about Icon wheels. I got some for my LX570 several years ago and within a year, the machined surfaces were delaminating in spots. It's hard to explain but my understanding is that after they machine the wheels, they seal them in a clearcoat.
Anyway, mine started flaking off in multiple places and now are black and tarnished in those spots versus the shiny silver on the rest of the wheel. I contacted Icon about it and they said I must have spilled brake fluid on them and refused to step up and replace them. I know for a fact that I did NOT spill brake fluid on them as I had not done any brake work up to that point. I was sorely disappointed by this company that has such a good reputation in the community.
It's doubly unfortunate because I'd love to get some for my 250 when it arrives but will not risk it again.
The picture below is shortly after the flaking happened. Those spots are now black from brake dust embedded in the metal or corrosion.

In case this is useful to anyone else, I started a spreadsheet of options for the stock 18" wheels -- specs plus if anyone here has confirmed they don't rub turning or at full flex. (That second one is a bit tricky.) I'm still slowly adding more options including the data TumeloCruzer already compiled.

My three main contenders going into this were the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO3, Falken WildPeak A/T4W, and the Wrangler DuraTrac RT. The K03's were kind of my default, but the lower weight of the other two in stock 265/70R18 non-LT sizes really has me considering that. I wish the K03's or any of them came in non-LT lighter versions in 275/70R18 or 285/70R18, those are more the size range I was thinking. On the other hand I've always run E load range LT tires on the FJ . . .

Does anyone happen to have the same info for the 20" wheels. I'd prefer the 18's as well but not sure I'll get the option since most of them seem to be coming with the 20's on them and I don't have the budget right now to do both tires AND wheels.
