    found the Toyota accessories site has a limited selection of add ons that it reports should work on the new LC's; i'm searching for roof rack items... at 1250 miles w 16.7 avg mpg; looking for improvement

    Other than having to pay over sticker for the honor of an FE, I'm pleased with my purchase.
    in the past I've enjoyed owning a '72 J40 and two 1994 models (first was stolen at 600 miles).
    Was never a big fan of the FJ so passed on those. This new version caught my attention last Fall and I was on a quest for one seriously since Nov '23.

    With about 1200 miles, I'll share this:

    Plenty of power and torque in ECO mode.
    So far MPG reads 16.7 mpg, expecting improvement over time.
    On road ride smooth on grass & sugar sand, it really come alive. I need to spend a bit more time learning E settings to run off road for an extended period.

    Metal panels feel tinny, does anyone know if any of the body is aluminum?
    Paint is unique but stained easily from my oak trees. I just had it ceramic coated; tech had a heck of a time prepping the white roof. I removed the cross bars from rack to gain him access.
    SE Toyota touts the "protected" paint finish lol, warranty bs, don't believe it.

    Regarding roof racks, if anyone knows where to buy rack accessories please advise. The cross bars are channeled to allow for attachments but no clue where to find. Dealer sales & parts dept. no help.
