🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

I installed the Kick Plate Cover from Canvasback. They are $30 + $13 shipping for both sides. One side has their logo and "Made in the USA" but the tags are basically hidden under the seat once installed. I chose black and it matches and blends in well. I don't think my passengers will notice but the covers will do the job of keeping mud from boots and dog hair from embedding into the carpeted portion of the seat back.

I tink someone posted up a picture of some ‘carbon fiber’ ones a while back that would be easier to clean should the need arise.

Installed the victory 4x4 engine skid plate, and the front looks much better after cleaning some of the air dam parts.
Do you still have the factory plastic skid behind the engine skid? How do you like it? I have a ‘58 eventually want to upgrade the skids.

The Victory 4x4 sells it as a full engine skid, replacing the plastic shield underneath. Unfortunately, maybe due to shipping constraints, it comes in two pieces now for assembly. I like it, but it's pretty heavy, might be worth getting the aluminum if it's of concern, but I like that it mounts to the frame and not the radiator cross bracket.

How did the installation go?
Installation went well after I looked at a few pictures from others and finally figured it out. All the extra bolts are what confused me the most. I don't have a lift on the truck and do have 34" tires on but was kind of PITA trying to work underneath the vehicle. Had to use a jack to hold up one end of the skid and raise or lower it if needed. Pretty happy though these are solid!

Sweet. My transmission plate comes in tomorrow. Once I have that and the transfer case skid installed will update pictures and a walkthrough.

Nothing today per se but received my bumper and got the lights pre-installed.

Won’t go on until after the lift, total weight once installed will be plus 182 Lbs. minus whatever the crash bar and bumper pieces weigh so probably right at 170 Lbs.

Also gonna try and mount my tri-color badge over the Rago logo since the brush guard will block it from view on the grill now.

Gotta say it was packed very well, took over 20 minutes to get it out of the foam in the boxes.
