Windshield cracked!!

Got my Windshiled cracked yesterday. It was a small object that came (My speed was around 35mph may be) and boom, a big crack.

I've got a much bigger one with higher speed on my Honda Civic and no issues, but the LandCruiser its gone. Did not expect this from Toyota

No bueno. Hopefully you have comprehensive coverage, with extra windshield protection coverage

Same with mine, took a hit and windshield cracked top to bottom, this was back in October and I just got it replaced yesterday. Don’t know why it took forever but apparently it’s happened to far more folks than Toyota planned for. I would very seriously look into getting your coverage to include windshields if you can because the angle of these windshields just grantees it will happen again at some point.

I had a small one repaired by Safelite and the tech said, this will 100% happen again, get more coverage or a lower glass only deductible

75% of the repairs are Broncos and Wranglers bc of the vertical style windshield like the LC250

I have comprehensive but bo extra windshield coverage. I will add it in my renewal coming next month

Went through 4 windshields owning an FJ cruiser over 12 years. Hope I don’t go through as many.

I'm still waiting for my replacement windshield. I'm on the list at the local dealer and have contacted Toyota brand management. They keep telling me a big allotment is arriving in early April. We'll see. Getting sick of looking at this crack (and that's after having two separate chips filled by Safelite). Quote to pay out of pocket for the windshield and sensor calibration is about $1,500... that's for a 1958 without HUD.
