What’s the sensor on the rear link, upper passenger side?

I’m installing a lift on my 250 and there’s a sensor connected to the rear upper link.
Does anyone know what this sensor does? It’s an electrical sensor, not mechanical like the brake proportioning valves on old Toyotas.

I’m not sure whether I should connect it back exactly like it was or adjust its position to account for the lift.
The only thing I’ve found is from the Rough Country instructions they call it a trailing arm sensor.

I wondered about that but I thought the 250 didn’t have auto leveling headlights. I know there are instructions for manually adjusting headlights in the manual. I’ll have to look into that.

Yes you can manually adjust and should if performing height modifications but it still auto levels, the manual adjustment is setting is setting where they are pointing while at rest on level ground and they will still auto adjust based on the sensor inputs.

I don't think this will help but it's what I have.......

@EOD Guy, thanks! I think this is helpful.
It looks to me like the Sensor Standard Position is where it should be at normal ride height, so if I were to find the position where I get 2.5 VDC and then adjust the linkage to that sensor position at normal height (after the lift) that would probably be back to the truck seeing the sensor as being at normal height.
Then if I adjust the headlight aim from there, as @Bad1975 suggested, we'd be good to go.
Anyone feel free to weigh in on whether you think my logic is good here.

Thanks!

Do you have the headlight adjustment info from TIS or do you want need it? I have a copy I can post.
I think I had it somewhere, but now I don't have to go look for it. Thanks!

I don't think there is any corresponding front sensor. Nothing I saw when doing the front suspension.
