I feel like I'm going crazy. When I get in my car and turn it on, BEFORE I move, while still parked, sometimes it sounds like there's an open window right behind the driver seat. I have quadruple checked to make sure door is closed and windows are tightly closed but it still is there. Obviously, when I start moving, it's drowned out by road sound but I'm just wondering what it is and if anyone else has encoutered there. I'm wondering if it's molding or maybe the AC vent up there, but it sounds like it even with AC off and recirculation off.

Good thought, the seat fans...

Oooooooh, that might be it. I absolutely love the cooled seats and I almost always have them on since the weather warmed up. That would make sense since it's a recent thing and I've only recently started using the cooled seats every day. I'll have to check this.

Iโ€™m almost certain itโ€™s the seat fans. Iโ€™ve thought a window was cracked open before, until I realized it was the seat ventilation.

It was 100% the cooled seats btw.
Some models are louder than others, in comparison I think Land Cruiser are on quieter side. Sienna and Tundra, you can really hear them. Not as much on Highlander.
