PT998-35221-3S is black with silver 'TOYOTA'
PT280-35221-5F is Black with bronze 'TOYOTA'
you can also use your Toyota Logo center caps from your factory wheels.
It looks good, are these wheels really 700$ plus for just one?
Better and preferredAre these better wheels than stock mechanically, of just a preferred look?
Just bought a set off a 2022 Tundra that supposedly had 5k miles on the tires(AT3W's) for $1900If you poke around online you can usually find a set around $2000 for wheels and tires.
While the factory wheels are fine functionally, Forged wheels, like the wheels off the current generation Tundra/Sequoia TRD Pro's, are a higher quality wheel. They are stronger and lighter which are both desirable qualities. Are these better wheels than stock mechanically, of just a preferred look?
Hey hello WOW lol
This is EXACTLY what i'm about to do - I got the TRD pro wheels but the red on the caps HAS GOT to GO.

I was looking at maybe just getting an all-black set from AGP - but this is way nicer.
Thanks
Approximately 2 lbs lighter than stock wheel, 0.7 lb lighter than the '24 Tacoma TRD wheel that so many have used. I've personally never broken or bent an offroad wheel, so although I liked the look, I couldn't fathom what the extra $300-500/wheel would actually get me (other than looks).Just bought a set off a 2022 Tundra that supposedly had 5k miles on the tires(AT3W's) for $1900

I'll add the lightest aftermarket cast 18" wheels are around 23 pounds, and the lightest forged wheels are under 20 pounds. If you have a chance, could you weigh the stock wheel vs the TRD pro wheel? It would be interesting to know the differences.
same story for every OEM installed tire. They are still a good tire, you'll likely get 30k miles out of them.[Side note: if you acquire these wheels as takeoffs with the tire that came installed on new Tundras and Sequoias, you're getting a version of the Falken AT3W that is different (not the same as after-market version, and surely won't last as long). I almost fell into this trap, and discovered that the mounted tires weren't worth the apparent 'deal'.]
Only the 18" wheels from the Tundra or Sequoia TRD Pro are forged. Those from the Tacoma are not forged. There is no forged 20" OEM wheel that I'm aware of, you would have to go aftermarket. This is all very helpful.
So regardless of 18" or 20" Cruiser stock wheels they art cast? Yes?
The TRD series are forged. Yes?
Is there a 20" TRD wheel or do we have to go to the 18s to use the TRD series?
This may become a very good case for better aftermarket forged wheels for the off road set of tires. For us 20" aficionados.
Thx.
Only he TRD Pro BBS wheels are forged and made in Japan, other Toyota/Lexus/TRD wheels are made elsewhere and cast which is why they are typically around $300 or less per wheel. This is all very helpful.

The Method beadlocks may be the hot ticket for the off road set i'll have soon.Only he TRD Pro BBS wheels are forged and made in Japan, other Toyota/Lexus/TRD wheels are made elsewhere and cast which is why they are typically around $300 or less per wheel.
Yes there are some light weight 20" forged aftermarket wheels but very few will buy them at around $1000/wheel.
The Method off road, bead locks are 30lbs, thats a rot row moment for me if thinking off road wheels.I'll add the lightest aftermarket cast 18" wheels are around 23 pounds, and the lightest forged wheels are under 20 pounds.
