2024 land cruiser 1958
It’s a bummer, and a huge long shot but if anybody knows of or has a totaled 2024 Land Cruiser, it would be amazing if y’all would let me know. I’m looking for a very specific “fuse link” that Toyota says can only be obtained by buying a full cable assembly for thousands, and all I need is a small housing for two fuses. So any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks y’all!

lol yes my friend, using your ideas I’ve made two that I keep in the emergency kit now, but I would still feel a whole lot better if I could just replace it! I’ll maintain hope that someday I’ll get my hands on one!

I didn't realize that was you!

What modification or design problem makes you want to have this spare?
Long story short, there is a cable which connects the hood battery to the 12v trunk battery via a fuse link which is on the 12v positive terminal. I had an oopsie when testing my winch and blew a fuse in that link. Turns out that link is basically the connection for all power to distribute throughout the truck. So it blew and the truck was completely dead, no lights no ignition no door locks, nothing. This link is only available through Toyota if you purchase the entire cable which is a whole lot of money when you only need a 350amp fuse and a plastic shroud that holds it. So we came up with a plan that can be implemented in a pinch in case that ever happens to blow for whatever reason. Because if whatever what-if scenario does happen like out camping or on trail somewhere with no service or whatever… you’re completely dead in the water.
