This video from Top Gear just popped into my YouTube feed, so I thought Iβd share it with the group. Not the most technical review or the most experienced off-roaders, but interesting nevertheless.

Something that caught me off guard with my fe was that you have to turn the inverter on. Every time you start the car you need to do it. Pita imo.Thank you! I would love to know which kettles work as I've tried at least 6 (sub 100w) but none fired up!
Yes the UK models are diesel, havent found any button to activateSomething that caught me off guard with my fe was that you have to turn the inverter on. Every time you start the car you need to do it. Pita imo.
So you may already know that but I am pointing it out just in case.
Edit: APIOQM beat me to it
Haven't tried a kettle but I've plugged in my full sized Dyson to vacuum out the interior without any issue!Thank you! I would love to know which kettles work as I've tried at least 6 (sub 100w) but none fired up!
Interesting...was the car engine running whilst using the Dyson? How many watts is the Dyson ?Haven't tried a kettle but I've plugged in my full sized Dyson to vacuum out the interior without any issue!
Yes, the LC was running. As per the Dyson website, the Big Ball is 250W...this may be considerably less than a kettle! But saying that, you piqued my interest, and I just went out to my work parking lot and boiled 700ml of water in the back of the LC with no issue (motor running).Interesting...was the car engine running whilst using the Dyson? Thank you very much, looks like an isolated issue with mine, will have it checked out and report back, cheersYes, the LC was running.
