Tire Upgrade ?

Yes, absolutely no rub.

I've upgraded to 305/65/18 right now, also no rub, did some offroad as well, went smooth.

OK, many thanks for the info .... and do you think it will fit also with a +25mm offset rim, same model: ICON Recon SLX 18x9, bore: 95.1mm, on 33x12.5 R18, with NO rub ??

After entirely too much research (including staring at a lot of photos in this thread for a combined total of several hours) I picked up my 1958 this week and immediately put on the 275/70R18 KO3s that my dealer was kind enough to price match Tire Rack on.

The Les Schwab I visited for install didn't want to mount the spare claiming it wouldn't fit. The indie shop I visited the next morning said the same, but I talked them into doing it anyway. It just barely made it in, and it feels like it's maybe a half inch too big to fit in cleanly because it's catching on the two stays in the front keeping the tire from making contact with the panhard rod and it's touching the rear frame rail. I still need to do some adjusting, and maybe I'll just have to store it aired down a little, but wanted to share my experience since it wasn't smooth sailing. Worth it though!

This looks amazing--very nice. Thanks for sharing.

My brains not working - someone help me out!

Which one of these options would poke out more from the fender - I'm struggling to imagen .5" in wheel width difference to the 10 offset difference?

METHOD 705 (17x8.5 Size / 6x5.5 Bolt / +35 Offset / 106.25mm Bore / 2650 Load / 25.2 lbs. Weight)
(Part Number: MR70578560535)

FIFTEEN52 ANALOG (17x8.5 Size / 6x139.7 Bolt / +25 Offset / 106.20mm Bore / 2650 Load / 29.48 lbs. Weight)
(Part Number: AHDAB-78069+25)

LC 250 series is 95.1 mm bore !!!

Thanks too bad those look nice

Check those ... 17" or 18", and above all: 95.1mm hub bore which fits with Land Cruiser 250 series .... and then let them be painted same color of your LC ....

Did airing down the spare help the fitment?

Yes I know, but I'm not fan of this ....
I wasn't a fan until I finally did the research to determine there's no con to this application other than possibly losing the hub centric rings on tire rotations. If you mount and secure the lugs correctly each time, the hub bore myth is non existent

That's interesting, you're not the first to put these on and say they just barely fit in the spare location. I'm wondering if they are running larger than the official specs say? What PSI do you have in them?

it looks like the K03 your installing for a spare is 33.2 inches in diameter. I wanted to install 5 Mickey Thompsons Baja Boss’s that measure 33.4. That’s not looking good for me. Might have to switch to a different tire that measures at 33 inch max. Really wanted to do all 5 if I have a flat and can do the rotation.
