Tire Upgrade ?

Really need stock wheel and tire weights to make the best decision, but haven’t seen them anywhere
See the spreadsheet linked in my signature.

Stock mid-trim and first edition wheel (US): 27.3 lbs
Stock mid-trim and first edition tire (US): 37.3 lbs

I haven't found it for the 1958 or 20" upgrade options.

Nice! Hadn’t seen that, but looking for 20” wheel and tire specs personally

FYI just weighed it: 76lbs for my stock 20” combo per my spare.
Which "stock" tire was installed on your LC? I think I've seen that there are a couple of different tires coming. Just curious if it's the Dunlop or something else.

Thank you good sir @Mopac51

I think I know the play now!

METHOD 705 (17x8.5 Size / 6x5.5 Bolt / +35 Offset / 106.25mm Bore / 2650 Load / 25 lbs. Weight)
(Part Number: MR70578560535)

RUBITREK (285/70/R17 / SL Rating / 3 Ply / 8.5" Rim / 32.8 x 11.3" Size / 14 Tread / 51 lbs. Weight)
(Part Number: 28074640)

TOTAL WEIGHT: 76 POUNDS

Slightly more aggressive than factory and looks way better without sacrificing feel / comfort / MPG's. I suppose you could even run AT4W's in the same size and only gain 2 pounds.... Method 703 are 2 pounds more... Fifteen52 Analogs are 4 pounds more. Not too bad

Photo someone @Michael_Oregon sent me of 275/60R20 KO2's on the 20" stock wheels (not my photo or LC):

Ha, I think I like the same unconventional wheel options in the 705 and the Analogs. Drawn to the LC because of its blocky and bold design, so it seems a disservice to it to have intricate spokes. Going to strongly consider the 705's, the analogs might be more extra weight than the design is worth to me.. really want to come out lighter if stepping down from a 20" wheel size.

Method's site lists the 705's in 17 and 18 in options as "vehicle verified" for the 2024 LC, but that's all I'm going off of
The 705's are my favorite too. If they came in 18" with an offset near 40, that's what I would do.

Below is what I got from Method on the 17" wheels. All of them look like a pretty tight fit.

Yeeesh, that is a squeeze. I think I will keep the stock 18s and Ridge Grapplers for a year or two, then see what aftermarket options have become available. Someone is bound to make an LC-specific 17" rim.

If Im not mistaken I was watching a TRD Jon youtube video and he weighed his FE wheel/tire and it was 69-70 lbs.
I'll have to look for that. Someone a few posts back got 76 lbs. I'm hoping we can convince @Michael_Oregon to weigh one of his stock 20" tires before he sells them!
