Throttle House Bought The New Land Cruiser and the Land Cruiser Prado 70

Glad they recognized this is the 150 successor, not the 200 successor. I don't know what to tell Doug & Jason, did they think Toyota decided to slash $30k off the Land Cruiser nameplate just for fun?

IMHO opinions are cheap and everyone has one.

I love the LC, it does everything I ask of it, is it perfect? No, but what vehicle is?

Watched this over the weekend...thought it was pretty good, and more closely echoes the opinions of actual LC 250 owners (like those of us on this forum), compared to Demuro and Cammisa who have panned it on multiple occasions.

I particularly liked this exchange here...

"and we've decided it's 'quick enough'"
"I think it's more than quick enough"
"Incorrect"
"no, no, no...it's more than quick enough for the way you drive this vehicle...stop trying to drive it like an RS Q8. Just chill...feel the torque...little bit of foot down, feel that EV assistance...there you go, that's it...see that? That's where it's at home, it's about torque not horsepower...just like the old one." ("the old one" referring to 70 series from earlier in the video)

Enjoyed the segment on the 70-series as well... so many enthusiast type folks on forums like this and Reddit will say that Toyota should bring the 70-series here (USA) and that they'd sell a ton of them...but this video sums up pretty perfectly why a LOT of folks wouldn't want to actually daily drive one...unless you're shopping exclusively for a "weekend vehicle", I doubt that 70 series would sell that well at all. I personally think they're cool as shit, and would actually love to be a position to own and play around in a 70 series, but realistically don't have the money or space for a weekend vehicle, and would not want something like as my daily...
