THE DUCK?

Hello everyone, I’m on my fourth month with the new LC and I’m very pleased overall.

This may be silly, however, may not be since all of us drive a rather unique exceptional vehicle as far as I’m concerned.

My girlfriend is a Jeep girl, which I know is poison on this site , but seriously I’m so tired of this duck showing up quite often when we’re out in her new two-door wrangler, which is frankly very nice, but it’s not a Land Cruiser.

How ridiculous do you think it would be if we would come up with something unique to our vehicles?

Just something I thought of when she got “ducked” today.

Happy New Year! Interesting thought. Jeeps have ducks of course, Broncos do different things too. As cool as it is, and I’m all in favor of these, I always thought the LC kinda stands on its own without the need for such recognition.

Sadly if you follow the FB groups, such a nice well intentioned gift isn’t always accepted well. Some would rather you not touch their car. Others don’t appreciate, or even know, what the gift is & throw it on the ground for the giver to come back & find they’ve been rejected.

Land Cruisers don't need gimmicks. I get stopped all the time asking about the LC. It's already a classic.

Interesting thought, but I'm good with a wave from a fellow owner. I actually got a wave from someone out on a test-drive at a nearby Toyota dealer today.

Good morning gang and happy new year, I’ll eat crow on this, one member pointed correctly. The Land Cruiser is a classic. It doesn’t need gimmick crap.

And frankly, my girlfriend’s annoyed when their ducks on the windshield.

Best wishes, she’s actually thinking of unloading this two-door hardtop pink Tuscanero Wrangler for a 1958! They are two here in southern New Jersey a black one and a white one. And they’re 2025 I haven’t really followed this greatly. I’m surprised at 2025 out but their number of threads about this I didn’t realize.

Absolutely not for me. I just came from several decades of Jeeps (CJ, YJ, TJ, JK and JL). It’s personal property and I can’t count the times someone has reached inside of my Jeep or put a bath toy inside or on my vehicle. I spent a great deal of time and money modifying my Jeeps and I don’t want a duck. The Jeep culture was far better back when I had my CJ’s and it was a friendly wave.
