Just purchased a 72 FJ40. Found a few electrical issues and wish to tackle this one first.
Both the left and right signals work on the exterior of the vehicle when selected. The right indicator, green light, on the dash works when selected and flashes as required. The left indicator, green light, does not light on/off or intermittent when selected. There is power to the light socket when selected but is not flashing on/off as the right one does. When selected the power is constant to the bulb socket but the bulb will not light up. Bulb is OK. Does anyone know the cause. Not sure what part to change out.
