I’m honestly pretty underwhelmed with the center-mount bumper options that have come out so far. Dissent seems to be the only one offering a full front bumper for the LC250.

I get that the platform is still new, but even the 6th gen 4Runner already has more (and better) exterior mod options—and that thing just dropped. (I could be making shit up here, just the way it feels to me)

Outside of this forum, are there any good places to keep tabs on what’s being worked on or coming down the pipeline? Would be nice to have a way to actually stay in the loop instead of just waiting around and guessing.

I know Victory’s supposedly working on a Blitz bumper for the LC, but there’s been no real update—and it’s weird that they already pushed the GX550 variant while the LC feels like an afterthought. ARB’s got something coming too, but I’m not into that design and don’t really need something that serious anyway.

Appreciate any recs on where to look or who to follow.

ARB has multiple bumpers coming, they released a video on them a few weeks back. There's a Bumper thread on the forum here as well that you might want to "watch" for updates. The vehicle has only been out for a bit over a year now so yes, the aftermarket should be in full force shortly

I’m willing to wait, I’m not impatient per se but it seems that information is so fragmented and the search functionality on this forum is admittedly… not the best to find specifics.

I’ll take another look, thanks for that!

I agree it does seem like the LC is an after thought.
Yeah, it does feel that way a bit. I get that the 4Runner has always sold well, so it makes sense for companies to prioritize aftermarket parts there and push them out quickly.

The only thing I can figure is that the LC250 is such a shift from previous Land Cruisers that there wasn’t enough reliable data to justify early development. Maybe brands wanted to make sure the new LC would actually sell before investing in parts that might flop.

Still, seeing the GX550 get parts before the LC is frustrating. Feels like we’re just getting left behind.

I am, information is a bit limited and bare on both.
I dunno, I feel like we have multiple vendors with varying options. With ARB bringing their complement shortly, we're going to have 7+ options? (ARB, Rago, DV8, CA Tuned, Dissent, Victory 4x4, Ironman, NYTOP, Toyota themselves!) It takes time, money and expertise to build bumpers on scale. I just saw a post from a guy installing a new bumper and he had to do a ton of cutting with very meh instructions... I don't want that kind of install, no thank you.

The GX was available in the market about 4 months before the Land Cruiser, so there's that, I suppose.

I'm always a little wary of the first-to-market stuff anyway.

Maybe I’ve been miscommunicating, I’m asking about high clearance specifically, if we narrow it down to full front bumper options that leaves us with Dissent/ARB and potentially, Victory when they decide to communicate where the Blitz bumper is for the LC250.

Everything else you’ve mentioned is a hybrid/center mount.

I’m not discounting the amount of work that goes into R&D for these parts, my post was more so where can I find information on upcoming products/development of products.

I’m east coast so the ARB bumper is severe overkill for me as where I’m roading is blue ridge area, technically a full front bumper isn’t as much of a need as it is a want for me, it’s a nice to have but not a need to have and while I’m sure the ARB bumper is incredible, I’m not sure I love its chunky look.

I can be patient, I’m not expecting anything to drop overnight but just looking to lead myself in a direction so I can educate myself as best as possible.

That’s a valid point, I guess I can make a mental note and reassess 4 months from now of where we’re at in terms of availability for the LC250.

Agreed on first to market.

I do like the look of the Dissent front bumper but I don’t like that I’ve seen no builds of LC250s with the bumper on it. Everyone that doesn’t have it seems to praise it. It feels like they haven’t even shipped any out to anyone yet and have been touting it for 6 months now.
