I have a black LC and purchased the black iForceMax overlay from Toyota, however it did not cover the chrome circle to the left of the iForceMax emblem. I tried to Plasti Dip the circle and it came out wonky so I peeled it off. It's going to bother me as the only chrome part on the car. I've seen a lot of you remove the iForceMax badge altogether, but has anyone removed JUST the circle and kept the iForceMax? Pictures if so? Thanks in advance.

The badge is held on with double sided sticky tape. If you were really careful, you could score the "circle" - "Ifarcemax" at the junction with a Dremel and hold down the Ifarcemax side with your thumb and gently pry the circle up with your fingers, bending back and forth till it broke off.

I would:
  1. remove the whole badge
  2. remove the double sided tape from the back of the badge, cleaning any residue
  3. clean residue from liftgate
  4. cut the circle off with a dremel as tech says above
  5. apply new 3m adhesive to the back of the badge
  6. reapply to liftgate

I mean I wouldn’t do any of that (I just removed mine), but if I wanted to partially remove the badge, that’s a pretty easy way to cleanly do the job.

I saw that Toyota offered a black I-Force Max badge, so I ordered one. In the mean time, I peeled off the factory chrome badge, starting on the right side. The Beyond Zero dot did not come off, so I removed it separately. I originally thought it broke off. Until the new black emblem arrived, sans the dot. But there is a little line sticking off the left side of the black emblem that butts up against the dot. So I just decided to forego the I-Force Max emblem altogether.

Someone else's picture, but I just don't want a black emblem with a chrome dot.

pretty sure the dot and the text are 2 separate pieces

I have a black LC and all the emblems were black, except the iForcemax. The iForcemax stuck out like a sore thumb. So I removed the whole emblem. Anyone behind me would have their eyes drawn to iForcemax emblem. Much cleaner without it.

FWIW, mine came off all in one piece, with the dot attached to the iForceMax lettering

Just use a black sharpie for now, and black it out!

iforcemax is such a low class, cheap trademark. Sounds like something you buy from Temu or AliExpress.

Ladies and gents, iforcemax shoulder heater pad! Now with carbon fiber RGB technology. Buy now and keep your shoulders warm for $9.97, shipping directly from Guangdong.

Get rid of it please.

On second thought, the dot may have broken off. I looked at the replacement emblem I ordered from Toyota, and it's just a black overlay for the original emblem. I thought I was ordering a black emblem. Here's a picture of the original, before it went in the trash can. I need to pay more attention. Attention is expensive sometimes.
