Questions about Toyota OTA software upgrades

My new LC is my first Toyota. I’ve seen several comments about “hopefully that gets fixed with a software upgrade”.

My questions

1. How often does Toyota push out upgrades?
2. How will we know when our LC was upgraded?
3. How do we know what the upgrade fixed? Is there a website that tells us?
4. Is there a website where we submit feedback to influence future software upgrades? Like a setting for “I’m using a bike rack in my hitch”

1. Maybe once a year at the most
2. You’ll get a pop-up in the multimedia display.
3. you don’t know what was fixed, I’m not aware of the website. Maybe there is but I don’t know.
4. There might be a website, contact Brand engauge meant they may be able to tell you.

Just so you know, these over the air updates are generally just for the head unit and GPS maps and things to do with the multimedia. If there are software updates for ECUs, the engine, brake system, those things you have to take into the dealer.
